Too bad this is all BS. Carbon levels in the atmosphere are a TRAILING indicator of global warming - in other words, a symptom, not a cause. Planetary tilt and solar output cycles are 1000x more responsible for our global temperatures. And there's **nothing** we can do about that. The last ice age ended over 35000 years ago, and we've been warming ever since. PEOPLE DID NOT CAUSE THAT. Duh.

It's not like I'm saying pollution is good, but the simple fact is that the earth gets closer to the sun every 20 years and then backs away every 20 years. (Next door neighbor's an ecology major who's thesis was on this, so I think it's plenty a valid source as ones online.) Climates go up and down. I think this whole scare is just blown out of proportion. Not to mention, all this carbon? Yeah, it's encouraging plant growth. (by about a 30% increase thus-far) But hey! Be scared.

Greenhouse gasses are produced by plankton and other life in the sea. Yes, it captures gasses, but also releases them, Water temp makes a big difference too. But carbon levels follow, not lead, global warming, which is caused by solar temp cycles, not human activity. For proof: if we channeled **all** human resources for 100 years into climate change we could not affect global temperatures by even 1 degree f. Meanwhile, billions would starve. Compassionate solution? no. Just dumb.
