Bill O'Reilly is soo right!! let me give all of you Libtards a history lesson, Carter passed the Community reinvestment act, Bill Clinton expanded it by requiring that banks through Fannie & Freddie lower there lending standards. as a result people got home loans that they couldnt afford and shouldnt have got. in 2006 bush tried to regulate fannie & freddie so that we could avoid an economic collapse but Barney's Frank & the dems blocked the regulations. this econoimc collapse is the dems fault!
I'm a democrat myself, and I know why Bill was yelling and Barney Frank. All who lost their jobs at Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae when them two still existed. With no jobs, no one can pay their bills, and when no one can pay their bills, they end up with foreclosures on their homes or for renters, get evicted from their apartments or rental houses, and suffer the unemployment and homelessness. I know plenty who've lost jobs that ended up like them former employees. It's not a cup of tea.

Wall Street knew it was gonna crash, so when the music stopped, Fannie and Freddie were in posession of a bulk of the securities, and the blame was spun.

And the government didn't coerce or incentivize the private banking industry to make predatory loans to people that couldn't afford them. They wrote the loans because they were making a killing in the short term, and they were able to fraudently rate the securities that backed them, and resell crap as gold to dupes like F&F.
