  • i only want the case, but it cost about 1000$ :S

  • u can tell no one cares by how many ppl are talking in the background... =_= so much fail just in the presentation alone!

  • when this was released i always expected it to be very small and compact...

    apparently i was wrong.

  • And I can't stand Voodoo's web site now arghhh.. The good die young. :(

  • Voodoo used to be an amazing company making really rowdy computers. They also used to have many models to choose from. I still use the Rage F:50 and yes the specs are way outdated but for normal computing it is awesome! Most unique computer ever made imo.

The new Voodoo or should I say HP comps may perform good but they are terribly ugly, goofy looking and Voodoo has certainly lost their edge.

It's an HP lol, like seriously. I'll pass Rahul, thx.

  • Voodoo PC selling out to HP was a huge shame. Voodoo PC had so many cool, custom PC's when they were independent and now they just have the HP Firebird and a couple of rebadged HP laptops.

First Alienware, then Voodoo PC. Who is next? Falcon Northwest? God, I hope not.

  • these jerks sold their souls to hp they are nothing anymore.

  • Without hp they would be nothing

  • Can't find the Omen anymore. They discontinued it due to poor sales.

  • 1,200 - 8000

  • god that guy was boring .. pretty cool, but not impressive enough .. home made customs are a lot better hands down .. I'm going to build one soon enough (never had before) .. wish me luck

  • i give the case a 10/10 but the features 5/10

  • it sucks. even when it came out, it wasnt the best PC available.

  • Case is good but inside suks

    not worth that much

  • zomg its nude

  • This is ridiculous - I don't understand why people just don't make their own computer. Buy a high-end lian-li case if you want that sleek look.

  • right on :)

  • if you don't have the skills/time to build your own pc, and want the security this offers, this is a great way to go

  • It doesnt take much skill to build a PC beyond watching/reading some tutorials, but yeah it takes a bit of time. I agree this isnt a bad computer - its just overpriced

  • that's the problem. Avg People, the ones who go to best buy, think building a computer is complicated. So they go buy stupid overpriced shit like a Dell or an Alienware

  • Yeah, its actually really simple.. you just have to take ur time.

  • i know. Tell them. Not me.

  • 2k for the low one... 3k for the next.. 5k for the liquid cool ownage. 10 maxed out.

  • Rahaul the Fahool, fucking fag he is.

  • nest comp ever !

  • is this better than a PS3/XBOX?

  • LAWL ROFL LAWL NOOB!!! yes haha omfg

  • lol fucking noob of corse it is, even my machine is better than a fucking ps3 or xbox 360

  • i was just asking, no offense

  • Oh and your immitation dessert camo hoody and dog tags make you look like a failed rapper in a mid-life crysis. fucking sell out

  • Your an embaressment to Custom CP mag you fucking arse. 'know more about liquid cooling than anyone' do you? You fucking cocksucker. The LCLC is a sack of shit and so is the blackbird.

  • uhh....4k could buy u a more performance system xD

  • U think? Its the best of the best, and built to live on and on, and not something made by someone in his garage. Up tp 4 tb of space, 1GB x 2 VGA (they can both be nvidia), 8gb of ram and LOTS more, but the top model is 6000$, and its damn good. But if u don't care about games, its useless to u.

  • i bought it!

  • Mac pro + uglyness + overkill.... Nah.

  • Zero Zero TWO

ummm i think its just two...hate that OMGZROZ IT NEEDS TO BE ZERO ZERO TWO IT SOUNDS HIGH TECH. I am an "enthusiast" sooo I think I would rather build something myself so dont say its for "enthusiasts" if its prebuilt. And the foot....couldnt you just use NORMAL PC feet?

HP worker: crap the f*cking door keeps falling off

Hp worker 2: lets just sell that as a feature.

fail... only for people with loads of cash who dont care about the pc itself.

  • So you have an issue with:

    *The 002 name

*The fact that YOU didn't build it.

*The Foot that's unlike normal PC feet

    *The removable door being removable

*The fact that you cannot afford one :(

Sounds like complaining is also for people who don't care about the pc itself

  • Why does he stroke that case like that? It's a little bit creepy.

  • What was the song when they were reveling it?

  • I'd take the case, not the hardware. I'd save $4000 for something similar.

  • I LOVE that case!!! i want one so bad. same with the dell XPS 720 case, they are amazing

  • if i had $4000 i would buy it...

  • dude what the fuck are you talking about? copying apple? i hope you were being sarcastic!

  • I'm not a rahul fan but sorry to burst your bubble, he has been dressing like this before apple even had a market.

  • Hp Rocks

  • what the hell is the problem with dressing like a fuckin "normal" person. you don't have to be steve jobs to wear a black nit sweater and skinny jeans from the 80's

  • the new asus motherboards suck, hp/voodoo should stop using them. voodoo's modified li lian case beats that abomination any day, wtf? side mounted vesa, screwless atx is as old as P3. cable management should be done like alienware and hide it behind the secondary side panel. hows having an internal hot swappable drive beneficial to anybody. hes acting like sata needs a jumper... rahul needs to to stop preying on uneducated consumers, or is that his marketing tactic?

  • Never have a strictly engineering mind present a flagship product if they have no presentation skills.

  • Build your own. If you want a cheap browser pc sure buy a HP Dell or what have you but for gaming and high end build your own. It fun you can customize everyhing from fans to graphics card and it is always cheaper.

  • many of the key features they are boasting were introduced by other companies a year before the black bird. by the time black bird came out you could design your own super cooled, toolless, quiet PC for a fraction of the price.

bottom line if you want someone else to cut your meat for you you will pay for it.

  • "obliterates the competions"- its nice but it still doesnt take down VooDoo

  • its designed by voodoo, geneous. HP bought them out.

  • i know but Black Bird (HP BRANCH) does not = The Omen (VooDoo BRANCH)

  • Do they even sell the Omen anymore? The Voodoo website has been reduced to the Envy and the Firebird.

  • omen envy and blackbird is still avalible only over phone

  • :D That's great! I can buy one now! Do you now how much?

  • I called HP and they said that the all of those models have been discontinued. I think HP bought Voodoo and killed them.

  • you can buy mine

  • i have one :)

  • sweet soundtrack

  • I Want One! DADDY BUY ME ONE!

  • i still think that custom computers are the way to go, its cheaper and wayyy more relaible in most cases

  • i am a hp laptop,heating a bit ,but wish i dad this too

  • best (((FACTORY))) PC but its nothing to a custom high end gaming RIG!!!

  • Nice, glad to see hp in the mix, but building your own rigs are much more fun, provided you know what you are doing.

  • The only advantage HP and dell offers in their gaming rigs a full tested factory overclocked PC with warranty I want that in my life.. but the problem is with the VERY VERY high price.. with 5000$ for HP blackbird you can build a PC same configuration with a higher end products and you will pay less of a thousend dollars or maybe more.

  • ima get that pc when i get my first job.

  • me 2

  • I could build a gaming pc that runs cooler and faster then that blackbird for 2,000, gamers will think this thing is bullshit.

  • yeh i kno..i could build one if i had the parts and if i could be coaxed off my lazy ass.

  • that is true cuz its easily posssible

  • its a nice pc over all very great design but might as well build it urself

  • Rumour has it that the HP blackbird 002 is more expensive than other high end gaming PCs.

    BULLSHIT.

gaming systems and been costing 1000,2000,5000 or even near 10,000 dollars for as long as I can remember. Maybe it is perceived as being more expensive for what parts your getting exactly, compared to other gaming rigs. but if your in the market for a high high end PC like this, price swinging up or down 500 or 1000 dollars say?? your going to simply buy what you WANT. nice system....

  • where do you shop for gaming pc's that are 10,000 dollors?

  • online, alienware voodoo ect. just max out the stata

  • northwest falcon has alot of $10k+ pcs

  • i personally feel falcon is overpriced cuz veloctiy micro makes stuff that is usually equal or better and cheaper

  • Don't believe half the comments here about it being massively cheaper to build your own or building one just as good for under $1K. I'm pricing my own system versus a Blackbird right now and the difference is not very significant, using Tiger Direct or Newegg prices. And this is with a straightforward 1 to 1 comparison between parts.

Build your own computer out of accomplishment and pride, but the Blackbird's cost is not outrageous like they are bitching it is.

  • and what the heck components are you putting, 8800 GTXS? intel 1000$ processors? please tell

  • Go check out Blackbird's website to see what components they put in there, they're very straightforward about it, and none of it is proprietary. For ~$2800 with shipping, you get Q6600, Dual eVGA 8800 GT, 1.1 kw PSU, 2 gig 800 mhz CORSAIR RAM, Asus Strike Extreme 680i, Creative Xtreme Gamer Card, Western Digital Raptor 160 gig 10K RPM, and the liquid cooling on the CPU.

Not being a fanboy here, but hit Newegg and price these items. Pick a good case like a Coolermaster Cosmos to go along.

  • If you do a honest 1 to 1 comparison there, name brand to name brand, you'll get a system barely $500 cheaper. and though $2800 for a system is not small potatoes, its hardly budget busting either.

Sure, your paying a premium for the Blackbird, but given the case, customer support, Warranty that includes overclocking, I think its worth it.

  • This is lame...build you own pc at far less cost, and a much better one at that. That case is gay as hell

  • o yea this doesnt compair to any pc out ther

U FUCKING IDIOT I CAN BUILD IT FOR 2 GRAND!!!!

  • same here, infact less than a grand probs. the blackbird isnt all that great anyway - it has liquid cooling - so what? you get the same effects from buying a cooler yourself and doing the job yourself to be honest. And as well as that - the blackbird has ATI graphics - i would never use ATI - crossfire doesnt work like SLI and will never be as good as SLI either.

  • lol yea i agree with you intill the crossfire part cuz ugh actully ati kicks sli's ass! look up on tube crossfire wow!" ther is so much more to crossfire than sli

  • yeah and thats why SLI is more effective - its so simple, crossfire has more issues than Jeremy Kyle. Its a known fact that SLI constantly overshines Crossfire in tests, its simplicity is the reason it works so well

  • no its crossfire works better look up on u tube "crossfire wow!"

  • lmao@ consumers who are influenced by ads and shit and dont know how to build

  • i'd rather get a voodoo. a friend of mine has a voodoo he bought like 6 or 7 years ago and it still runs really well.

  • Lol, 6 or 7 yrs? I'm sure it runs fine, but the best gpu/cpu couldn't handle any of the high demand, multi-threaded programs of today. Voodoo can get up to 15k nowadays. :/

  • oh no it definitely doesn't compare to anything new lol. but its still impressive considering the life of some other pc's i've seen.

and yea voodoo is crazy expensive...when i price out a custom built one its usually around $8000 total :\ not even top of the line stuff

  • do u think alienware is better? i know that the blackbird case is alot better and better cooler though

  • umm they all use the same parts you know? They do not make components themselfs so no Alienware pc's will be the same in performance

  • it costs 2400 dollars. ... and in argentina (where I am) I think it would cost 8200 dollars.

  • how much does this cost? i realy want 1 :D

  • so when does this release? because obviously no body bought one there would have been a shitload of videos on youtube.

  • sweet but build your own thats better and youll save more

  • no home built pc matches voodoo's/hps PCs

  • Thats a bunch of crap.. I could build a PC with a 790i mobo, 2 8800 Ultra's, a Core 2 Extreme, 16GB RAM, and NO pre-built PC could match that at the same price.

  • "At the same price". As you pay more you get better performance :D I've built my own rig as well, but I've got to admit; if I had the money I wouldn't build my uber rig, I would buy a fucking Voodoo Omen.

  • Well if you mean by "if i had the money" like bill gates money than yeah, i would not bother either because i would have better thinks to do than worry about buying/building a pc. But if you yourself build a pc it can be much better than pre-builds at a much lower cost.

  • lmao, dont you know how to build your own with the parts of the omen?

  • yeah they're better

  • this guy is the biggest phony out there. check his weblog and you will see so much HP ass-kissing, that it will want to make you puke. this guy is just lucky to have a job there since noone else would hire him. he's lucky his company was saved from bankruptcy and got sold. this had nothing to do with him but the business people behind voodoo. in fact, what does he do other than dish out self-promoting, lies. HP dollars well-spent! go figure.

  • este jugetito lo kieroooooo oggggggg...

    hp las rompe otra vezzz...

exelente makina y con el respaldo hp...ke mas se puede decir

  • everyone should just build their own

  • I wonder if this can compete with Alien ware computers

  • for specifications, they are pretty equal, but for design the blackbird wins hands down.

  • Stock computers (like the Blackbird) are a ripoff. You can get a custom computer with the same specs for about $1200-$1400.

  • meh, it's ok mostly because I like the ease in HDD removal but other than that a true PC gamer knows a custom built system will beat anything as long as the person has the budget and knowledge of what's good. This is guy is wrong! Contrary to what he said, HP does not beat the competition if any pre-build is worth getting it would be Falcon Northwest they Carry high end shit such as Solid State Drives which even Alienware doesn't carry.

  • si tuviera $1000000000000000 Dls la compraba

  • I think its all hyped up... If you take take away the great looking case, you basically have a generic comp...

  • yeah...I just looked at the specs....

    it's pretty mainstream stuff

  • It's still pretty cool IMO. It would be sweet to get a pre-built system like that. Though building is fun too! :P

  • lol dell sucks the wang big time. e.g: they giv u 4 gig of ram but only a 32bit verison of windows, so the computer can only use 3 gig of the 4 anyway. how fuckin stupid do u have to be?! im getting one of these as soon as i humanly can ;)

  • Dell XPS sucks, how much>? probably $200,000,000 This owns it anyway DELL SUCKS COCK dell XPS is better? haha i think not, Dell is so gay

  • It beats it, YEAAHH!!

  • i found out black bird beats dell xps 720 h2c

  • umm k wats better black bird oo2 or dells xps 720 h2c i rerally want to kno plz reply

  • of course, the xps. there is no question. the xps is silent, and my ass u can reach more than 3.73 with the blackbird, with the xps, its come already with that. plus that fancy piece of shit psu cage is limited in size 4 the future. dude, hp sucks. anythin beats hp.

  • Can anyone else sense fanboyism?

  • sucks balls voodoo is way bettr.

  • It was made by voodoo bu7aisinfuckedupname you dick

  • do u even know what bu7sain means. just shut up. at least i dont hav some fucked up russian name, LUKE wtf. looooooooooool

  • Better than a XPS 720 h2c? Haha, I THINK NOT.

    HP is so gay.

  • Its still a good system, but nothing beats a premade system. Dell are the worst prebuilt company.

  • WTFBBQ? "Nothing beats a pre-made system" lol

  • The only reason i see people should go down the pre-built root is for Tech Support, Its good they like to use standard components but they slap a huge premium on this for the privelage, was meant to say home built but never mind.

  • Yeah, true. I'm all for building PC's myself, however the pre-built ones have some cool lulz in them that I wish I could have one a self-built PC... :P

  • Like? a thousand dollars more for nothing? i can build a PC better than a HP Blackbird whit around 2000 USD, while this PC goes around 3000 and way higher..

  • Yes, so can I and many other people alike. I myself prefer to build PC's instead of buying pre-built ones. What I said was that you get "nice" and "cool" things with pre-built ones. Like the case, all the extras and mice and keyboards with the brands logo on. You also get warranty and support. In the end yes they are over-priced, but if you have a lot money wtf not? I probably would not, but others would.

  • HP Blackbird 002 LCi (top of the line)

Costs $5,136 CAD, around $5,550 USD.

The case itself costs $2500. So basically the case is what makes its so expensive and shit.

  • The case is $2500?? Ur kidding right? well i know it comes with the liquid coolers lighting, cool design, fans, ect, that's too much for a case!

  • noo no kidding, the case itself is really $2500. This dude from HP or something said. Like the build and design of the case is pricey and shit. Ok don't bitch at me right now its my birthday lol.

  • AWESOME..........iwant.....u may be able to get a pc from newegg or tigerdirect with those same specs.....but the extra price you're paying for (the build quality, custom design, stability at those massive speeds etc) definitely justifies that price tag!!!

  • Wrong.

  • You can make your own with a fancy LED case for alot less. mine is about 1242$ for 2gb of RAM, 8800 GT 512mb, M2N32 SLI delux motherboard, and AMD athlon 64 x2. owned.
