+1, it's been studied quite extensively off of South Africa and yes, they jump.

The tail looks horizontal because the shark comes out of the water on its side dude. Great whites have a grey back and a white belly, and considering how dark that footage was, it could easily look black. Plus there clearly isn't those two white patches that are above the eyes of every killer whale.

I'm pretty sure it's a great white, or at least some kind of shark. If you look at the tail, you can see that the fins are vertical, which is a trait of fish, rather than horizontal, which is a trait of whales.
