I can't stand the lousy & whiny automated female voice announcer on the R160 E trains. The R160 F trains have better, optimistic automated voice announcement.

MTA trains have much more cars then the washington metro for sure. with like 4-8 cars per train in D.C. how many are on, lets say a siemens E train?

As of July 2009, R160A's & R160B's have replaced all the R32's on the F line.

they are staying on the E until their dying day in August. R42s are being sent to the A and C to retire the R38s and R40 slants. they really need to go and E riders hate the R42s, but C riders seem to like them
