They moved Super Bee from the Coronet to the Charger in '71 so why can't they move it to the Challenger now? Dodge so has their heads up their asses right now.
The new Charger being a 4 door is a disgrace to the charger name and to Dodge itself if you ask me. And what the hell is up with that front end? It looks nothing like a Charger should look. It should have had a 68 or 69 based grill that would have made it look like a real muscle car. But good lord a 4 door? WTF? And they are putting the Super Bee name and R/T on them to make it worse! I wish they would atleast move the Super Bee name over to the new Challenger!

I always loved the 70 front ends and the 68 r/t tail lights and tail panel trim so if they combined the two I think it would be a killer car! But I would just be happy if they would bring it back based on any 68-70 body style. I would be pissed if they based it on the new charger and made it a damn 4 door!
That is interesting how it looks with the old pillars and roofline. However, it would be a nightmare to measure and get just right. Then you have to deal with the glass. After it is done it is still a front wheel drive. Maybe put the old roof from a rusted out Yankee-land car and weld it to new Challenger that has been rolled, but then again, that roofline is already a retro design.
I like the back. I think you should rake the front corners a little and maybe stagger the headlights, and sink the grill back inside an inch or two. Just my thoughts. Nice job.

Good idea but two points:
a) the width of the front end is too small
b) a real Coronet should have RWD, the Sebring base is FWD - so it never would be a successor of an ancient (real) Coronet).
