@TheQuicksilverdog thank you so much. Was so desperate to find the full length version of this after seeing a clip of it in a blues documentary. Superb !
Good Lord this is a slowed-down version of If I Had Possession by Robert Johnson with different lyrics. I hope there was credit given where credit was due. Someone inform me please. I only know Robert Johnson version (and Clapton) If there is an earlier known artist or explaination I`d love to know. I love hearing such early ``rip-offs``...was the reason I fell in love with Zeppelin lmao
Can someone tell me the time signature of this song? Its like a 12 bar but it has a two count thrown in there, if that makes sense. Im not familiar with this(probably common) blues progression.
Nice Sears Silvertone Guitar Amp. Seriously, those sound awesome for the Blues if you're not familiar. Folks had 'em at first because they were cheap. Turned out, they were great for that gritty tube sound that Fender, Marshall and Gibson amps didn't really get because they were TOO polished. Not sure what the other guitar was going through. Sounded similar.
I thought Wolf was gonna smack that sax player at the start there, " u gonna tune that sap-suckin' horn, or am I gonna have to smack u wit it upside your head?!!!"
This has a lot of importance from a music standpoint and historic standpoint. "When you see me running, don't make me late, cause Im coming out the window, and my life is at stake!" WOW! Sing Wolf, sing it bro!
RIP Hubert ....

I missed the news of Hubert Sulin's death last weekend. One of the best. He will live as long as the blues.
