You might reach blue belt in no time at all! But after that you need to seek more advanced youtube ball bouncing videos or you'll be trapped at blue belt level for 100 years.

@bumptori First off, the video has nothing amazing in it. Do the plyo without the ball, just hands feet and the core inbetween, that should show you some improvement. Second, blue belt has nothing to do with fighting skills, hope you know that. It's just a belt and title. Some people never took the exams above yellow even, but could kick your ass any day :)
What is the purpouse of this exercise? What kind of stability does it develop? What for? Is it for some particuarl pose in ju jistsu or is it just a general exercise?
This particular exercise is almost mandatory and essential for the development of your jiu-jitsu. It builds up all the necessary attributes you need in your jiu-jitsu.
It looks like easy one, although you call it extremely hard. I will need to try it myself to see what's it like:) I wonder if you were serious about its difficulty or were just kidding us! Thanks!

You should see some of the warming ups we do for taekwondo in my gym... one can think like with this one, that they are useful in other areas of life... xD

I showed my instructor this after hours of Practice, he no longer speaks to me but did give me a blue belt. Now I'm not sure if it was worth it :-/
