  • love the vid, just left your site-bravo on the idea and work you do-can you cater for other animals for eg:rabbits?

  • She is so beautiful

  • My dog became paralyzed two weeks ago after a bout of deadly Pancreatitis. Against all odds she survived, and Monday I bought her a Walkin Wheels wheelchair. Waiting for it in the mail within the next 5 hours. If anyone has experience with disabled dogs, do wheelchairs help greatly with depression? My 80 lb Lab is beyond depressed and has begun refusing food even after her Pancreatitis has improved. I'm afraid if her wheels don't help her depression so she can eat, I will have to put her down.

  • This deserves a million thumbs up! This dog is inspiring to all humans.

  • THEY SEE ME ROLLIN' THEY HATIN'

  • disabledanimal has adoptions, help and listings for these precious ones :)

  • what can we do for our toy poodle he only weighs 12 pounds?

  • @trekette007 - For small dogs like poodles and dachshunds we have the Walkin' Wheels Mini. See it at the handicappedpets (dot com) website - click on Dog Wheelchairs, then Doxies and dogs under 20 pounds.

  • I've visited the site before and it breathes such renewed optimism into any owner whose dog is suffering from impaired mobility. Every dog deserves an alternative so it can carry on leading a happy life. Excellent video.

  • what kind of mpg does he get

  • @zombieturd7 - Runs on dog biscuits. Starter is activated by scratching between the ears. 1/2 HP motor. Occasionally produces a methane by-broduct ("The dog did it!"). 200 Smiles per gallon!

  • this makes me so happy. I am very proud of her! thank god for these great wheelchairs for dogs :)

  • 5 zillion stars and it is very therapeutic to see alternatives for dogs who are wonderful and deserve a wonderful quality of life too! :-)

  • 5 stars, i respect people who have a heart for dogs.

  • I bought one of these and they are very well designed, with quality components. it used to be that you had to put your dog to sleep if they lost use of their legs, but with one of these, they can lead a mobile life again. I just hope that they can be cheaper and cheaper so more people can afford them for their pets.

  • AWESOME!!!! What a happy dog now!! Thank you Handicapped Pets!!
