I am not an expert on the lore of lightsabers combat (or the skills of actual sword fighting in general), but I always found "strange" that 2 (Obi Wan and Qui-Gon in EP1) or more (4 in this case) people cannot easily overwhelm a single opponent, non matter how powerful he is.

Still I understand that the movie (and the story) required the final confrontation between Mace and Palpatine (and later Anakin), and it would have been more odd if Mace came alone in the first place to arrest Palpatine.

I was disappointed at Kit Fisto in Revenge of the Sith. Not only did he look a lot less lively than the Kit Fisto we know and adore, but when fighting Palpatine, his blocks looked very... clumsy. Like a cowering clumsy person who is fighting half-heartedly.

well what i personally think is that George Lucas threw in 3 other jedi who would be killed just to make Palpatine seem stronger. but then he thought if i put Fisto in, since people recognize him more, people will remember the fight easier. honestly i think Kit woulda lasted way longer if it was about him and not Mace.

I totally agree, Kit is my favorite jedi, simply because he's the only aquatic jedi in the movies, I love water, he loves water anyway. @BadB0y380 kit goes down easy because he uses form I which is rudimentary at best. it is a.....decent form for fighting even SBD or pirates or peace keeping missions, but not for fighting in saber to saber combat. so a weak form against a master of forms ataru, juyo, and dejem so....ya he wouldn't last two seconds

Due to an error in directing, if you watch the floors of the video... You notice Kit Fisto is actually gone after Mace and Palpatine's duel goes back into the hallway.

This leaves room for the possiblity that Kit's alive.

actually, kit fisto was the one of those three jedi who survived the longest. Yes, he was no match for Palpatine, but you must remember that he was extremely powerfull. Kit fisto was one of the best swordman in the Jedi order and an excellent jedi!

@robinJsilke No he did not. He leaped and stabbed one guy then quickly slashed the other guy who had horns. When he tried to then hit Kit Fisto right after, Fisto blocked it. Then after about 3 or 4 more hits between Palpatine, Mace, and him, he finally cut Fisto at the waist.

Which means that Lucas actually thought of Fisto as a good enough jedi to not die immediately and he wanted to at least make him survive for a bit more.
