Someone mentioned a clear guitar...Jim/Roger used to play 12-string for "Eight Miles High", with different lights inside of it tuned to the notes, during at least '75/'77. it was way bitchin'!

The old days are the best just because more artists and bands made great music together and acknowledged it. It's great to see Rollings Stones and Jimi Hendrix just playing. More for lack of a better word "artists" need to make songs together.

@70goldtop I got a Chet Atkins Hollowbody with all the gold shiny bits. It sounds great ,but I am afraid to play it because it is so new and shiny. I play the Telecaster that looks like it got into a fight with Chuck Liddell but sounds fantastic. Teles are great but if you like that rockabilly thing get a Gretsch
