Wow, thank you for contacting me Dave! I absolutely love this song and wish more people were able to discover the old country gospel music. I am a worship leader at a small church in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Some of the local worship musicians get together from time to time to jam and I love to play these songs. Randy, this song was actually written by my dad, Walter Scott. Jim Reeves did record the song though and he is probably the one most responsible for making it popular. You have the song right except where you are playing an A Minor, you should play a D Major chord. I am really glad you enjoy the song. Thanks for playing it and teaching it to others!
