chicama is the best place, I am a peruvian and I have surfed there 3 times with a very nice swell. My longest wave was about 2 minutes. Anyone that loves long waves should go.

check out Chicama in Peru, you can ride it for 1,5 km, thats like 1min and a half, the wave is hollow and big, about 8f and always off shore. !!

there's a secret spot in costa rica that breaks like that only you can ride it with a shortboard most of the time. I am not talking about pavones either. got close to 2 minute rides on a shortboard. this is a cool video though, kind of shows whats out there if you go exploring. oh yea and the place i am talking about breaks left, just as perfect as this wave.

Either the video person missed the take off or the surfer took off on the shoulder. Add another 20 seconds if the surfer took off behind the rock at second.
