I've been reading it now for a few days, and I am having a hard time putting it down. I think every young christian adult needs to read this. God has given it! The evidence in creation supports the Bible. What i needed was not recovery, but salvation in Jesus Christ my Lord! Without God everyone is wicked and dead in sin. You cannot be bad and good, you are either one or the other. Can a judge be both just and unjust?
Well , you can have just and unjust laws certainly. If God`s law is that you must be tortured for all eternity for being brought up a muslim and failing to realise , even though you might just be a simple peasant , that the religious dogma from another country that you have been taught to view as evil, is actually the only way to heaven. You are quite correct . Science has no idea where the laws of physics came from. The "Explanation "offered by the church , that it was the will of a sentient being that created it by methods unknown , is not only lacking in evidence , but is open to a broadside of logical shellfire.
And i agree, all i am saying is that scientists will never find the complete answer to it all as long as they keep leaving creationism out of the box of "possibilities". And the God i know of, according to the bible, is beyond our time and he is not limited to the physics that he created lest he becomes inferior to his own creation with limitations as an all powerful being. A friend walked up to me and said "I think you should read this." So I did (It was IKDG)
Not a terrible book, mind you but I didn't really agree with it. It got a little preachy personally but was readable to say the least.
Then it dawned on me: This book is written by a Christian for Christians.
If you are Christian then i would recommend it (as it contains Christian core values)
But if not I would avoid it, you wouldn't gain anything by it and ultimately would be a waste of your time.
