Wow!! I am ever glad I found this. I had it on cassette and in my divorce lost all my music. Optical Race is one of my favorite TD albums. It had become my Autumn album...which probably sounds a litttle weird...Autumn is my favorite season next to summer. When the leabes started turning and the air was becoming cooler I would play Optical Race constantly. Love it!!!
This is the track I played constantly while going through a painful and life-changing relationship breakup in 1989. Well I repeated the entire album over and over but this was the track that did it. No idea why except that it struck a chord and how can we dispute what our inner self is telling us? Thank you whoever posted this and thank you Tangerine Dream - because of you I am still sane.
This was one of my first cassettes when I discovered electronic music, I love the cover, it says it all, all themes are smart, I payed a lot of money in that time to get i, but it worth every $ !!
haven't heard this in ages...

I think this is one of the last real good TD album. Even if I´m one of those more krautrocker purists that prefers the Ohr, virgin years.

They have myriad of better track than this. I do not say this is not a good one, but not among their best. Sorry, just my opinion.

@kikehippo I have to agree, though I like anything TD. But I sure wish we could have the Rubycon days back.
