The speedometer is in Kilometers! thats why it looks like its going fast. Look at the car at :14 hes just going a little bit faster than it!

Actually you can, many people use vtec to help turbo to spool faster. That's why small engines like b16 can match up with bigger turbos compares to the size of engine. We call it "Vtec turbo"
