What is frightening is that it takes THIRTY ONE years to get rid of one bad teacher? Imagine the filth that infests our schools...that we have no power to get rid of?
One can only extrapolate what she was like in classroom from charges of awol, absences, insubordination. She still might have been a competent teacher although a poor employee from a management perspective.
@versatility357 actually whenever companies are planning on firing a black person, they keep very very detailed records for several months, because so many blacks file lawsuits claiming racism.
And the teachers union had nothing to do with allowing her to continue, in spite of bad behaviour, to keep her job.....Sheesh. Better late than never I guess. Now, the question is. After 31 yrs of bad teaching, how much retirement is the state on the hook for?
