  • Bethesda actually planned on making a sequel called The Eye of Argonia. However the game was shelved for Morrowind. I for one would love to see more Elder Scrolls spin-offs. The universe being deep enough as it is, Bethesda could branch out into more genres.

  • @shuboy05

By the way, Eye of Argonia was to be set in Black Marsh which is another reason I want to see the game revisited. The various southern provinces haven't been explored since Arena.

  • Why cant I find a Let's play of this game?

  • EPIC!!

  • is that the flag for skyrim or tamriel? because ive seen it in oblivion gameplay and redgaurd gameplay and ofcourse in skyrim.

  • @Saunga525 That's the dragon crest of talos aka tiber septim, the founder of the empire; thus making that the flag of the empire, which in the third era (skyrim's setting) consists of only cyrodil, high rock, and skyrim

  • @smuck06 im sorry im kinda slow on the elder scrolls knowledge, but what happened to hammerfell, morrowind, daggerfall, etc.?

  • @Saunga525 After the great war and the signing of the white-gold concordat, talos worship was banned. The redguards rebelled and were allowed to leave the empire, subsequently the talmor attacked hammerfell but were fought to a standstill. Morrowind has been invaded by the argonians (who rebelled after the great war) and the khajit lands of elswhyr also rebelled from the empire and are now acting as a client state of the thalmor i beleive

  • @smuck06 didn't know the argonians invaded morrowind. How, why, and what were the reasons for doing so?

  • @CorRomeister After the great war the empire was weakened quite substancially, and the black marsh region rebelled and gained indapendence. After that they invaded morrowind, which was still pretty fucked up from when the red mountain erupted, as well as the great war. (they may have been acting on behalf of the thalmor, i'm not sure)

  • @CorRomeister Black Marsh borders Morrowind to the south. For generations, the Dunmer captured and enslaved entire Argonian tribes and turned them into slaves. After Black Marsh seceded from the empire, they realized that nothing was holding them back from exacting revenge for the elves' ruthlessness, so they stormed the capital city of Vardenfell and demolished almost all that was left of the Dunmer civilization in Morrowind.

  • @smuck06 Oh, so creatures still live in those provinces? i got scared for a second thinking that everyone in those provinces became extinct or something.

  • @Saunga525 Nah none of the provinces have been wiped out or anything, although vvardenfell (the island in the middle of morrowind) was decimated after vivic left and the ministry of truth smashed into the island causing the red mountain to erupt again

  • why do people not get split in half in skyrim and why is there worse technology. I mean why can't I use an air baloon to reach the tops of mountains

  • @TheDarkKnightBegins2 The airships belonged to the dwemer (dwarves). But when they mysteriously vanished, so did their technology. I think, in this case, the airship is just a one time thing in the lore and was never used again since there was only one in existence.

  • The animation's are pretty good.

  • W.. with your mind?

  • i was like WHAT THE FUCK he cut him in half with his freaking mind

  • this needs to be remaid

  • Why can I never find game play videos of this game if you find one pls send me the link

  • HAXXXXX!~!!!!11

  • Remind me in hell - bamf!

  • i thought the empire was good? :S

  • @BigBuddha2012 Well they did become good because they gave Redguards autonomy for Redguards at the end of the game. Tiber Septim met with the rebel leaders for fair rule idea instead of counter attack.

  • @BigBuddha2012 To everyone but the Dunmer

  • This game didn't get the credit it deserved. Any place Bethesda lacks in gameplay they more than make up for in plot.

  • I love endings like this in video games...

  • I'd like to see bethesda make more games like this. Like a wood elf or argonian specific game.

  • Its Cyrus Skywalker

  • 1:50 DAYAAAAM DAT NIGGA GOT SLICED IN HALF

  • dark elf splitting action

  • Dam Bethsda can make one good game (well except roge warrior that game sucked)

  • he said hell, im pretty sure he meant oblivion. (;

  • that dudes voice has been in like every TES game

  • isnt that his sister?? lol

  • @xSTILLSTANDINGx1 I think so, wtf

  • i want to know the fuckin music in this video.

  • This motherfuckin PERFECTION as far as games go

  • how far did you get around

  • its kinda advanced tech for elderscrolls worlds since this is before oblivion and morrowind. flying ships? dagger fall they didnt have those

  • @badmangod This takes place 400 or so years before the events that encompass the lifetime of Urial Septime VII ( Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and finally his death in Oblivion.) Who knows what technology has been lost and found in such a huge span of time.

  • @iksarguards so is this game user friendly or playable today?

is it difficult? i am thinking of playing this and battle spire.

(also daggerfall is too old and slow on my pc cuz of a dos emulator being needed)

  • @badmangod they lost this technology when yokuda sunk into the ocean. and i think that it is dwemer tech not theirs. im pretty sure this game takes place before the exticntion of the dwemer

  • @badmangod they had flying ships in morrowind and much much more technology like robots and stuff. although the robots try to kill you...and usualy do..dang robots

  • @kalleskit No they werent. those pixels counted as shit back then

  • Comment removed

  • "How remarkable, I may well be the first Imperial admiral to surrender at this altitude" ahahahahahahah

  • So...the redgaurds are black?

  • @Revanstar14 If you've played any elder scrolls game you would know they are black

  • Omg when the flying sword cleaved the dark elf in half I couldn't stop laughing!

  • this ame is an amzin elderscrolls, raphics are the wors almost ever but it is GREAT!

  • We emperor now!

  • Holy fucking shit, that kicked ass.

  • Wow, Imperials were dicks in Redguard.

  • talk about bad graphics! lol

  • @johnnystorm666 Graphics are not what a game is based on.

  • I think the gameplay was a bit shoddy here and there, but man, the story for this game was awesome. This scene particularly shows how masterfully it was done, a little thing, like at 1:16 where the Dark Elf, Dram, is getting ready to slit Cyrus' throat, and the camera pans, making the viewer think--if only for a split second--that he was really doing it!

And was there anything more satisfying than seeing that sword cut Dram down the middle?

  • Is that the same voice actor that they have for Redguards today? I love him <3

  • @alirocker08 Yes.

  • I want a dwemer airship....

  • wow his amulet is like the amulet of kings XD

  • It was so hard to get there!

  • Surprisingly bloody endings for the villains for a T rated game, even if they are fleeting. Does anybody else think that Dram's demise resembles the way Tim Roth got killed by Liam Neeson in "Rob Roy"?

  • HOLY FUCK! REDGUARDS ARE JEDI!

  • Where did you get this game? I have been looking for it since I heard of it.

  • GOD DAMNIT THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO GAME OUTRO EVER!!!!!!!!!

  • quite impressive graphics for the time

  • @kalleskit No they weren't... part of the commercial failure of the game was the inferior, obsolete graphics engine. But at least the shiny stuff looks really shiny, and the music's great.

  • @Scow2 ok when's this from then..?

  • @kalleskit 1998 or something?

  • @kalleskit what year was that?

  • @UnderWorldGotU 1998

  • @kalleskit No, not really. It was a DOS game in 1998!

  • Hmm.. Sims graphics.

  • if you look at that then look at oblivion this graphics is REALLY bad

  • @2009joshyboy You go in a jet that flies at the speed of sound and then drive a car that goes at 200 km/h, the car goes REALLY slowly.

  • @Quartrez lol true!

  • They still use that same voice actor in oblivion for the redguards. Great voice acting and writing here by the way.

  • Now there is one AWESOME Redguard!

  • Oh my. Richton got the sword in his heart and Dram was brutally cut in half? Good ol' times!

  • Awesome
