how do you move army men without using your hand?

1. Take a picture, then move them a little then take a picture and so on. Then shorten the length of each pic to about 1/4 or 1/2 a second in,for instance, in windows movie maker. Which makes it appear as they are moving.

2.If your camera can "pause" while in a film, then you would play, pause, move, play, pause, move and so on. This way there is no shortening to do.

3. Other ways in which I am not sure.
