He was the lead guitarist in a very little known 70's band called "Jeff Sturges and Universe" I have the LP on Tom Jones' Mam label! He plays some great guitar on that album.

So THIS is the man who Salvaged the Care Bears II Movie with all those Catchy Riffs! I Found myself watching that film again JUST for the Music He & Carol Made! So is he also a Synthesist then? Sure there were a few Guitar Melodies in that Film, but it was Mainly Multi-Layering Pads, EPs, Strings & Synth Bass.

Most people don't know who Dean is, but you'd be surprised, because he's been a session player with a LOT of very famous well-known artists, including Madonna, Elton John, etc.

Dean's touch, his vibrato and his phrasing are killer. It's the subtle stuff that separates good from great, and he's the latter for sure. Mojo in the fingers. The Ghia's a fantastic amp; big brother (now discontinued) Mazerati, is a fantastic amp too. But - yeah, Dean is an amazing player. Not flashy over-the-top, just a grounded and "in the zone" musician. He deserves all the success he comes by and then some. And he's very cool about sharing his discoveries. Thanks for the post!
