Dude mania by no means means periods of elevated mood, I mean certainly elevated mood is common but it's more about being irritable, anxious, overly energetic, and so on.. When I had my manic episode I was actually somewhat depressed (or I guess a better word would be "sad") despite feeling like I could accomplish anything. If I were bipolar type 2 there would be no way in hell I'd be taking medication for it.. It barely even feels worth it for the more serious bipolar 1.
Bipolar is just a code name for people who covet. By labeling it and giving it a name, it gives people an excuse to covet and then to blame an external uncontrolable force for their own sinful natures and their own selfish thoughts. It's all due to COVETING, and that is why God warned us about it and commands us. Exodus 20:17 THOU SHALT NOT COVET...
Interesting clip. More people should try to understand this as it can be very painful. fyi, Ross Szabo is another guy who has experienced this had has a lot of great stuff to say to young people who are suffering. check him out on youtube (or at myspace/behindhappyfacesbook) Thanks for sharing.
