just got this game last night and it does have a learning curve but its wonderfully done and feels good to play if this is the creators channel; thank you for a great game and an alternative to an "EVE" like game without the hassles and worthlessness:) game is sweet and vast i do wish it continues to grow

Ah, just played a bit of the demo, exactly the kinda game I was looking for (Anything similar to good old Freelancer is a good game in my books).

It has multiplayer, yes. It is not, however, a MMO, so there are no subscriptions fees.

It's a user controlled multiplayer system. You can host in the game itself or setup/join a server using the stand-alone server program. No unrelated external programs or services are needed. You can play online or over a LAN.
