@sling3shot I think one of the problems conservatives have with Gingrich is his position on global warming. He made a video with Pelosi about how though they're on opposite political spectrum, they're in agreement about global warming.

If Gingrich believes that global warming is happening but opposes a large scale government intervention to stop it, then (it seems to me) that it doesn't really matter what he believes.
I haven't looked at Gingrich from your perspective before. I never thought he was a tactical politician, rather a principled one. But obviously I could be way off on that.
@gogswarriors (please read part 1 first). There are responsible and respected scientists like Bjorn Lomborg who believe that global warming is a problem, but that we have to set priorities. The hysterical pouring of trillions of dollars into solving the problem will do more harm than good. And there are environmental problems that are much more pressing that we actually can do something about without destroying our economy to do it. I want us to keep some sanity as we try to deal with this.
