to young to remember this and am not much of a quo fan but this song is fucking brilliant imagine living when this came out just get pissed or stoned and dance away
memories of my late friend Mick Haran who tradgickly died in a car crash in 1968 seemed to playing in the pubs and clubs in Bolton in the late sixties.Happy times!
Amazing how they eventually turned into a rock band and are still going strong all these years later. As a 16 year old in 1978 working in a shop their album was being sold, with this song on it and I couldnt believe then that they were the same band.
@jonewer ..If they hadn't done that, wouldn't've achieved the popularity they event. got!!..having said that this is still one of their best songs!!..
This has only 1,004 views plus mine? Church canon law should make that at least a venial sin! I remember when this song came out. I was a senior in High School. The preceding Summer was so cool. The Summer of 1968 wasn't bad at all. But the Summer of 1969 was a total trip. Didn't make it to Woodstock but the Atlantic City Pop Festival was nice. Only remember a little of it because of something called STP. My friends had to drag me out of the ocean after frolicking in the waves for 5 hours. Nice!

Amazing how they morphed from a quasi-psychadealic band into a rumpy-pumpy feel-good pub band.
