13,000 year cycles don't suddenly strike one day in 2012. they flow over periods too long for us short-lived creatures to even notice. Even the current 11-year cycle has been below average in intensity.

You cannot predict our universe and what it will do. We can't predict it if we don't have good enough evidence. But, there is still a possibility that something might change in our solar system, but this is almost like saying that Jesus is going to return to earth In two years. I'll explain what happend their was a Meteo that came in at sup sonic speed so the sun did not have enough time to burn it up befor impact.
She was almost hit head on. What hit her was unknowen material and she absorbes it like lava leaving a huge gash in her for years to heal but she gives off inner gazzes at a heavier rate now and more explosions and reactions I am glad to see this hit did not cause us to be destroyed but we could have been here for millions of years and then gone. so sad.

13,000 year cycles don't suddenly strike one day in 2012. they flow over periods too long for us short-lived creatures to even notice. Even the current 11-year cycle has been below average in intensity.
But there are certainly enough people out there who'll fixate on whatever they like the sound of rather than actually explore the science of it. These guys will never be short of customers.
