  • famous for all time branden lee god bless you

  • one of the greatest films ever made, one of the greatest soundtracks ever recorded...RIP brandon lee

  • i like

  • There hasn't been a movie before or since that compares to Brandon Lee and his talent. I believe that movie was a movie of the 90's like the Breakfast Club was the movie of the 80's. Nothing else compares. It's nice to see this tribute to the true Crow.

  • this song is made for my solue, i like to drowning inside- metaphorisch

  • 2:18 scared....

  • i could see an epic fight in a movie with the audio replaced with an instrumental version of this song and when the credits start rolling the vocals kick in :P

  • HAVING TO SAY SOMETHING AND HAVING SOMETHING TO SAY ARE TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS

  • people who didn't grow up in the 90's don't understand why the crow is important to those of us that did. it just had that grimy, heroin fueled depressive state that was so prevalent at the time.

  • @bravemicrowave hell yeah!!! you hit the nail

  • @bravemicrowave , no other way to explain it.

  • bein watchin it since i was 10

  • "Y can't this b shared to facebook,etc?"

  • @RwBguardian It can be shared.

  • @RwBguardian you're doing wrong??

  • The Best. Fantástico montaje de las imágenes. Me encanta esta canción. Brandon for ever

  • shooted, thats funny. a 1st grader knows better than that

  • he was NOT shooted dead.

he was shot dead. shooted. good grief.

  • fantastic movie this.. the soundtrack was nice and dark.. perfect for the mood I am in right now.

  • Comment removed

  • I hope they just wont remake this movie... They'll destroy it... The soundtrack will be horrible...

  • @tdluv420 they made sequels I never watched, which is what i'll do with the remake...Eric Draven isn't even the crow in the remake from what I read. The Crow (movie) is Brandons legacy and I wont watch the sequels or any remakes.

  • since the mid 90s, it's always perfect for listening to at 5 am... on repeat ;-) i late nite in '97, i came home & listened to this song about 5 x's in a row... just about ruined that cd too :-P definitley 1 of my favorites of the sdtk, & my fave VF track too... too good to describe in words...................

  • The remake is gonna suck so much balls. with the retardation holllywood is suffering imagination and puts out all these crapy remakes and they will make it more emo and senseless. i would see that as an insult of Brandon Lee's death.

  • As a former resident of the Motor City, very dark, not to far from reality, poetic in a chain saw sort of way, in all this desperation and madness, love and that redemption, he avenged her at the cost of his own life, hell Romeo and so forth didn't even do that.

  • brandon lee should've been brought back with the awesome crow powers ):

  • I hate what happened to Brandon...the make up the tragic ending reminds me of Heath too... not fair!!!! Great movie, great man, love Violent Femmes!!! Rest In Peace Brandon!

  • Violent Femmes Kill!

  • yummy

  • Did anyone ever investigate Brandon Lee's murder?

  • God, WHY?

  • i love this song better then playing now butcha trash this kind song never die

  • Comment removed

  • But data does not weight!!

  • I'm in love with this songs...since....long time ago

  • I agree with a lot of you on here......EVERYTHING to do with the Crow AFTER the FIRST movie sucked ass. I mean come on...Edward Furlong as The Crow?? Gimme a break.......I am insulted that they carried on with it after the first movie.

  • can't beat this song, from a middle aged hormonal woman, this brings me right back to hormonal teenager when EVERYTHING mattered

  • at 1:36 and 2:08 ..so dark and disturbed..Sexy. at 3:04 ..OMFG.

    R.I.P. Brandon.

  • R.I.P Heath Ledger

  • @Lukezzz93 dude, thats not heath ledger. thats brandon lee, bruce lee's son

  • @Lukezzz93 Seriously? Heath Ledger? You HAVE to be joking.

  • @Lukezzz93 Seriously start watching movies older than 3 years. Not every guy with white paint in his face has to be Heath Ledger. You should also think about getting your eyes checked.

  • oddly i was just thinking about this dude....

  • Why was a live round in with the blanks?

  • @mooseasaurusrex It wasn't a live. The saftey director had left for the day (the only man who should have been handling the firearms when not being filmed) and a shell hadn't been cleared from the chamber properly. When the next blank fired, the previous now empty shell acted like the bullet head. Blanks, if you aren't aware, have twice as much gunpowder in them (to effect the muzzle flash) but no bullet head. The extra gunpowder was enough to project the previous shell out the muzzle.

  • Alice cooper, why do I think of him with every picture in this vid?the Crow just nicked it from him

  • @chinghue yeah we know. And kiss too. BOO!

  • Me encanta esta rola!

  • I used to own the crow soundtrack CD, an original, brand spanking new 1994 copy.

Youtube, feel free to virtually kick me.

  • for all those who think the sequels to the crow, or the series in anyway matched the original JUST FUCKING WATCH IT YOU TWATS!!!! the crow should've stopped with the first movie, anything after is an insult to an exceptional movie, a great soundtrack and to Brandon Lee!!! R.I.P. Brandon

  • @cupidstunt5000 Could not agree more!!!!!!!!

  • @cupidstunt5000 I agree with you that the sequels and the series weren't up to the same standard as the original movie, however that doesn't make them terrible. The Citiy of Angels had a really nice arthouse feel to it with it's choices in lighting, and had a rather strong cast. The director probably shouldn't have left some of the footage from that film on the cutting room floor however as it would have made the story a bit stronger. The 4th film should have been verbatim to the book

  • that it was based on. As for the 3rd... it was a rather weak film, in terms of cinematography, but I personally still enjoyed it.

The TV series on the other hand, it really has to be looked at from a totally different perspective. It was actually rather well written and directed, when you compare it to similar shows on at the time it aired. It was really good. But can't be compared to the films, because it wasn't the films, it was a new story altogether.

  • @makroskizhar And I think in its own way it was a great show. Better then the last seasons of Highlander

  • @cupidstunt5000 (nods) Fuckin A man, My thoughts exactly. RIP Brandon Lee.

  • @cupidstunt5000 Their doing a reboot of it and are going to follow the comics closer. Looks like a sweet deal, althrough Mark Wahlbergs got his shoes full trying to replace Brandon lol.

  • @cupidstunt5000 Well now hold on, City Of Angels while inferior to the original, had alot of potential. A man coming back from the dead to avenge the death of him and his child is alot more tragic than the death of a girlfriend, and Vincent Perez and Iggy Pop didn't do a terrible job, they were pretty good. They just didn't develop it good enough. But the other sequels and the show were the biggest fails to ever have The Crow title attached....well, at least until that FUCKING remake comes out.

  • @cupidstunt5000

indeed. but the other Crow films I have seen sucked and the First was the best and should have been the only one.

  • @cupidstunt5000 yeah the first crow movie was the best and this was my favorite song from the soundtrack, i read theyre trying to make another crow with that guy from the Hangover, Brad Cooper i think is his name

  • @cupidstunt5000 Graphic novel by J O' Barr

  • @cupidstunt5000

I have to agree with you there. The first was a beautiful movie and was never going to be matched by the sequel or the series. I have to say, the guy in the second movie was nowhere near as intriguing or as hot as Brandon Lee either. *sigh* it really is tragic.

  • Epic love song!! This soundtrack also had one of my favorite PANTERA songs on it "the badge". R.I.P. Brandon and Dimebag!!!

  • this song reminds me of nirvana. I love the crow though.

  • @BosshogProductions this is one of the bands Kurt was a big fan of...

  • @ladyintheradiator187 thats sooooo awesome. i didnt even know that. now i love this band so much more. I already did before, but that adds so much more meaning to these guys. they were most likely an inspiration to kurt. thanks for telling me man.

  • @BosshogProductions read the Kurt Cobain Journals...he puts a lot of his favorite bands/songs in little lists on various pages...and you are very welcome.

  • Going as Ashe Corven to a halloween party. Need to listen to the soundtracks to get in character. lol

  • @RaquelWilliamson7837 and you can stop being a whore.

  • It's Brandon, obvioudly Mark came later. What an obvious awesome track to the first....

  • all the crow sequels sucked.

  • actually 3:01 is not Brandon Lee at all, it's Marc Gomes in that stupid Stair way to Heaven TV series of The Crow!!! Nothing beats Brandon Lee. (R.I.P.)

  • Violent Femmes !

  • 3:01 yeah its lee

  • My favourite song from my favourite movie. Excelent....great video, thanks.

  • one of my favorite femmes songs.

  • This song is soooo sexy. ;) But I think that about a lot of their songs. The Crow was a great movie too. I need to watch it again.

  • Rip Brandon lee

  • I liked Edward Furlong as the crow too. The Violent Femmes are one of the best bands ever theyre so original

  • The soundtrack is the best ever movie soundtrack of all time!!!!!

  • @TruckersWife79 it is one of the best, but the soundtrack to "Natural Born Killers" is just as amazing

  • awesome work awesome vid R.I.P Branden

  • This will always be probably my favorite, favorite movie and one of the greatest songs from it looovvve violent femmes!!!

  • Dude, learn English. >_>

No offense intended, but take it that way if you will.

Otherwise, this is a great song. ^_^ Thanks for putting it up.

  • @FLIPSYDOODAA like his dad bruce said... it's like a finger pointing at the moon.... DON'T look at the finger... or you will miss all that heavenly glory...

  • FUCK LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Do you see a resemblance between the Joker in Dark Knight to Brandon Lee...

  • @ronnieanand Who doesn't ? Brandon Lee's just way more awesome then the joker ,lol \m/

  • @ronnieanand i also see sting who is a wrestler and complete knock-off of the crow

  • it was the cure indeed, thanks

  • This soundtrack is great

  • im trying to find the song it played when he put on the makeup

  • @DETHFAN18ALL I'm pretty sure that was "Burn" by the cure, but it's been ages since I saw it.

  • Why did Brandon Lee have to die? :'(

  • I am searchin for the song which plays at the then end of the movie, it goes like mmm-mmmm sometin. the part when shelly and eric come together kiss each other in the graveyard

  • wow thanks for putting this song up. nobody else has done that.

    Cheers!

  • Who is that at 3:01? That is NOT Brandon Lee.

  • @fleurdelisabeth it was a guy from crow tv series( the crow. stairway to heaven)

  • @fleurdelisabeth that guy looks like mark dacascos (ever seen iron chef?) mmm i don't think he can be vincent perez the guy that made the crow 2

  • @fleurdelisabeth thats Mark Dacascos

  • @Perlenkette most of them are Brandon Lee but yes at 2:58 it is Mark.

  • @fleurdelisabeth as other people have said It's Brandon Lee's stunt double in the film and also in The Stairway to Heaven series Mark Decaoscaus or however you spell his last name

  • @fleurdelisabeth I think It's Mark Dacascos

  • @distressedangel123 Yes it IS Mark Dacascos, played "The Crow" in the series.

  • @Velsharoon100 The series? Who cares about the series. Brandon Lee IS The Crow

  • @distressedangel123 It is Mark :)

  • @distressedangel123 Indeed that is Marc Dacasos. A brilliant actor in his own right.

  • @distressedangel123 it is Mark Dacascos from the crow stairway to heaven tv series

  • @distressedangel123 It is Mark Dacascos. He was Draven in the show.

  • @distressedangel123 yes that is mark

  • @distressedangel123 He plays in The Crow: Stairway to Heaven the tv show

  • @fleurdelisabeth that is most definitely brandon lee @ 3:01

  • @fleurdelisabeth yes it is

  • @fleurdelisabeth The dude from the tv show.

  • @fleurdelisabeth johny depp

  • Brandon was going to be almoust as big as his father, so sad!I will miss him.

  • dont forget gone daddy gone add it up out the window dance motherfucker dance

  • Good song! To bad Brandon was murdered on the set and nothing was done about it!

  • I know right....no one has said anything about who did it or nothing...so sad.

  • Thank for yor support, the bullet came from fun guy's gun, they said a dummy round they use for show got stuck in the barrel and then after that shot a blank was put in for sound and it made it a real bullet. They ruled it a accident! I don't think it was. Somebody has it out for the lee family(if you ask me). nice cover up.

  • Other than blister in the fun, this was the only VF song I heard at the time the soundtrack came out. Unfortunately it's one of the few VF songs I really enjoy, but I think that's because it's seemingly a little different from their norm

  • VF did have other great songs besides color me once....try american music or kiss off. Btw doesn't Gordon play like Hendrix? Upside down and backwards...I read somewhere he is the only other guitarist that plays like that...

  • Dick Dale plays his guitar upside and unrestrung. he has his low strings on the bottom and high strings on the top, like he literally just flipped it over and started playing. pretty freaking wicked live.

  • Fucking tasty.

  • this is one of thos song where your like "this is violent femmes?"

  • @garageincdisc2 Yeah, too bad they didn't write more like this. They would have been much better.

  • movies a classic, awesome soundtrack.

  • I loved the song! Didn't really like "the Crow" movie, but I tthink It's very sad that Brandon lee died during the making of it. 3:59 "he was shoot dead.." uhh. Scary.

    Poor Brandon. :(

  • lol, not to troll or anything, but dont you know any of the backstory on the movie? brandon lees death was tragic, yes, but its so fucking good because of the way the graphic novel was written and the rawness that went into it. honestly, i felt worse for O'Barr then lee.

  • amazing song okay movie

  • the pixies influence is pretty obvious, in gordon's voice at least.

  • Im not sure how that would be possible since the VF predated the Pixies by about 5 years. Although Gordons voice matured, it never really changed.

Any similarity in sound comes from convergent evolution; similar upbringings and musical influences creating similar sounds

  • i was referring to his voice in this song.

  • You got to help my body heal my soul...Nice

  • SMOKE UP N JAM!!!!!

  • Very good song

  • amo a Violent Femmes, esta es mi canción favorita sobre todos los tiempos

  • They are from Wisconsin, and they formed six years before the pixies.

  • I love the little solo. There might be a little pink floyd and maybe some pixies influence in there but the femmes have a very haunting sound.

  • EPIC

  • Good song for this video.

Love the Femmes - Miss the Crow (Brandon Lee, RIP)

  • great song and great movie!

  • reminds me of pink floyd.

  • Are you sure picture at 2:58 is brandon lee?

This is the best song from a sublime S/T, real musicians performing art !

  • That's picture of Marc Demosnacos ( or smth like that ) he act as Eric in ' The Crow: Stairway To Heaven ' in tv... He's known as action, martial arts actor in television...or few nice movies ;p

  • It's Mark Dacascos from the TV series...

  • Sorry, but it isn't Marc Dacascos! It's Brandon Lee from the first "The Crow" movie!!! Read the explanaition to this video first then write your comment...

  • Mine was a reply to "TIRRIAR"s comment about who is at 2:58 moment. It's Marc Dacascos and in the rest of the pictures is Brandon Lee.

So give me a break and next time pay attention.

    Peace.

  • The Crow was an absolute masterpiece! And the whole soundtrack was great too!

  • @TheVoodooguy word..

  • @TheVoodooguy hells yeah

  • This song is great!! I love the Violent Femmes

  • this song was great

  • @SciolisticWashup Is great!

  • @SciolisticWashup this song still is pretty great!

  • @SciolisticWashup Still is.

  • @SciolisticWashup IS GREAT! Publish or parish mon amie.

  • when this movie came out this song absolutely captivated me...

  • One of the Femmes' best songs.

    you gotta go on....

  • Joker brother

ok ok....just kidding, is Brandon Lee, i know...

  • Great song :)

  • this song is so good it makes me want to kill

  • At the end it says he was 'shooted' and a few other abominations of the English language. Who taught this guy English?

  • this is my favorite song too.. lovin it.. <3

  • My The Crow favorite song

  • is there any other songs from violent femmes that are similar to this one because his voice is so hipnotic at least to me and other songs are too cheerfull or fast

  • you should listen to the song hallowed ground off the album of the same name.

  • also on Hallowed Ground is a song called "I know it's true but I'm sorry to say". On their album 3 is also a song called "Nothing worth living for". If you liked color me once, I'm sure you'll like these.

  • not really by violent femmes but looks up "pink floyd comfortly numb" and some other of there songs sounds alot like this.

  • I have every Floyd album plus bootlegs. I disagree. This is NOTHING like The Pink Floyd sound. Just as moving maybe....

  • I got to say that it does have some of the qualities Pink Floyd has had in some of their songs; the dark moody ones at least. There's a bit of an influence. As for the Pixies I don't hear it.

  • Oh, and why CAN'T it rain all the time, huh?

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhhh violent femmes

  • Some dude needs to learn engRish...Heh...Yeah Mark Dacascos(sp?) Should have never signed up for that TV series...

  • There is only one Eric Draven and it´s Brandon Lee, please delete the man at 2.58 he´s not Brandon.

  • Yeah you're right it's not Brandon, that's the guy from the TV series.

  • I know,But he is hes predicesser, Common :)

  • I listened to the crow soundtrack all through 1995. This song was my favorite.

  • this song is so..poisonous..
