I'd say it depends on what games you like. One thing I HATE about the PSP, though, is that since it's a port of PS2, the in-game text is so small I can't read it very well.

And I'm sorry about the second comment but the 4GB mem stick PSP 3000 has been discontinued, The silver and black bundles are the same but the silver comes with "echocrome" and the black with "Everyday Shooter"

I recommend you get the Ratchet & Clank PSP 3000 bundle, it's $200. You can get the 3000 core with nothing but the PSP but that has been discontinued but if you can find it, it goes for around $169. I saw some PSP 3000 core's on Amazon not too long ago.

Probably - not sure - one thing I hate about PSP & xbox games is that when you read text to see what people say, that text is VERY small. I can understand what their saying through voice acting but in the off chance i can't, text size is very important.

Sadly, I heard the black bundle is no longer available. Ratchet & Clank was the top seller so they discontiued the black bundle pack. You may be able to get it as a core system but I'm not sure.

get the Ratchet and Clank 3000 package! (it is a 1gb memory stick!) It is a great buy, with an awesome game etc. also, the controlls are very easy to get used to! Ans yes all games come with a manual.

i would say get the sliver because not only has a better value but what are the chance's youh will need a 4gb memory card because most of us have ipod nowadays i have a modded psp 1000 and i use a 2 gb memory card and saveing games do not take much i played 40 plus games on my psp and have never seen it even use up 1mb but if you really need a 4gb memory card it's about $15(if you go the right store)so the black psp is kind of a rip off unless you really like black

OK. I would go with the black one. First of all, I find the black one to look more slick, overall nicer, cleaner, sony-er look. Plus, it comes with a 4GB memcard, so you can put custom firware on your 4GB card and download all the games you want for free. All you need is a connecter to your PC, costs like 10$, so you can put all the music, movies and games you want cause 4GB is massive.

Then you'd better get that one right away because I've heard that the PSP 2000 (which is the series that bundle comes with) is to cease production this month - so once the supply of the 2000 is gone, it's gone. The 3000 will start shipping in mid October but the guy from Sony in a video I saw said that the 2000 would cease sales sometime this month.

i would go with the silver one because it does come with a movie and a game. im not sure if the game comes with a manual but if it doesnt there are control menus on the game that let u customize your controls. when the psp fat was out i got a bundle pack taht had a memory stick a game and a movie and it did not come with a manual. get back to me on this one.
