It's a Marshall AVT100. But the sound you hear is a Line 6 Pod XT plugged into the FX loop. It bypasses the pre-amp.

That dude saying you were slower than Hetfield is just jealous. That was perfect. Metallica isn't even one of my favorite bands, but this solo is one of my all time favorites and you nailed it man. For real. Killed it. It gives me chills.

Not completely sure of some of these but I think the slow solo in To Live Is To Die, first Master of Puppets solo, Nothing Else Matters, the outro solo of The Outlaw Torn. He plays a lot of harmonizing guitar parts as well from the first 5 albums. Thats all I can think of right now.

Hey buddy, If you notice his notes are a 16th of a beat off, Hence the reason it's harmonized.

I haven't got Seymour Duncans in this guitar. This was an EMG81 in the neck position. If you want to use Duncans, I recommend the JB/59 setup.

It's a preset tone on my PodXT called Eruption. I checked the settings for that and everything is pretty much on full (drive, bass, middle, treble, presence). I'm using the neck pickup which is an EMG 81.

Does that mean good? The best advice I can give is to start slow (about half speed with a metronome - 104 bpm), get the notes clean, and gradually build up the speed until you can play it.
