I was told by a conference presenter last year - he is from NYC - that a children's park in Harlem or Bed Stuy has a "play jail." Some of the neighborhood residents removed it or tried to get it removed and the city of New York refused to do so. Obviously, it is one small way to get Black children acclimated to being locked up.
