A great instrument in the hands of a great instrumentalist. But I do agree that Babayee sometimes lacks content and does technical ghompoz in various albums and here too. For 20 seconds starting at 0:15 he tries to play left hand only for no other purpose. The music is compromised.

i love his style, and disagree with Nahoft. could you explain why it's a wrong start? music is all about creativity... nothing is wrong in music.

at 0:04 he grabs the wrong note. The setar and its recording have a rich sound but the melodc content is infantile (peesh pa oftadeh). Too many people are inlunced by Alizadeh's crappy playing. At 1:44, it become a shitty mess attempted to impress non-musicians. Fast passages and fast music does not make good music but they sure impress the masses (Avam)

Babai starts with a bad note, continues with a lot of show-off passages that have no content and some times all-too-irrelevant. that said, I like the sound of his setar but not the melodic
