  • Lol, you guys also must lift things up and put them down. :P

Idc if anyone is big, I will still live longer. :D

Several years ago body builders died for many health reasons, because it was a myth to think big was fit. :P Ironic My gym teacher was close ot that guy`s size, but he didn`t "Lift things up and put them down" persay, he taught his students techniques and diets that doesn`t kill you. :) I might look at this gym tho (yes a gym, get over it) and see wazzup with the purple equipment. 0.o

  • What kind of gym advertises half-assed workouts and general laziness for its "ideal" members? Pathetic.

  • so hot

  • :-)

  • Love this commercial!

  • great, now I have to go find 79pemsacola's comment...

  • i wanna go to the gym he goes to xD

right when i left his gym i would look to him and say (in arnolds voice) ill be back

  • Lol...waste gym...I heard it doesn't have dumbells over 60 pounds...SMFH

    Trainer looks like a shrimp...

  • @Dino32C I went to sign up when I first started lifting, saw tiny DBs and I think 1 bench, turned around and left.

    Best decision I ever made.

  • @whothatafgan

    uMadBro?

  • arni?

  • Planet fitness is run by some skinny faggot dictator that doesnt have a clue about bodybuilding. You can not get big and ripped without being intelligent and read a shit load on the human anatomy. This commericial is so stupid and offensive and im surprised that they are still in business only faggots would sign up.

  • @whosthatafghan I like how bodybuilders get so butthurt over this ad

  • Eye Liff Dings up N poot Dem Down.

  • can't get enough of this clip

  • Comment removed

  • what is he drinking?

  • @Kuzco1425ah pcp

  • @Kuzco1425ah hgh?

  • planet fitness is for females

  • way to stereotype bodybuilders planet gayness

  • Planet fitness the official gym of pussies

  • ppl who complain about 30 sec commercials have no lives...thats why theyre spending 3 minutes complaining about the commercial and another 3 minutes reading this and getting all fired up to write bak... :D sooo

....lift things up and put them down.

  • @UsagiLoveX3 damn well better to be able when the time comes to pick that shit up than be killed by it and put down

  • wait......you pick things up and put them down all your live what the hell do they peope at planet fitness do

  • what kind of a pussy gym is this...?

  • is he making fun of Arnold?haha

    sounds like his imitating arnold

  • Haha I lift things up and put them down! - guy throws me out of the gym - - yells - YO I LIFT THINGS UP AND PUT THEM DOWN! SAVE YOURSELFS THE MAN IS COMING! - throws shoe at them - he swoons - i... lift...things...UP...and...put...them... down.

This all proves, GO TO PLANET FITNESS PEOPLE... SAVE YOUR BODY!

  • vaginas only at planet fitness... such a piece of shit gym.

  • we picked this guy, and elected him governor!

  • It's crazy.... people can make such a huge fuss over this commercial and it's only 30 seconds. 30 SECONDS!!!!!!!

  • We saw this in school.... I LIFT THINGS UP THEN PUT THEM DOWN.

  • I'm glad I left planet fatness

  • "and this is our strength circuit" ....where?

  • If there is anything funny about this video, it is the wimp doing one leg presses, and the other wimp classifying it as the strength Cir...uh

  • this commercial made me laugh, I did not have a 30 minute deep thought about how it discriminated against the insanely stupid, or that it was hating on body builders...then again I don't have oodles of time to contemplate 30 sec adds...it's called a sense of humor, go and get one

  • @19idgaf77 How long does it take you to draw a conclusion about a 30s advertisement? How loing does it take you to write about it?

  • @SmackheadPedo your so stupid you miss the point of the commercial.

  • doesn't this commercial just tell us that Planet Fitness discriminates against those that are considered mentally handicapped?

  • @ShootStyleZombie no, just people that are annoying...

  • I lift beers up and drink them down!

  • Mr. Bernard. Let me assure you. Inspite of my typos and failure to proof read my post on a youtube thread, i could run lingual circles around 99.9% of you affliction wearing, roid raging morons at any time. So before you get YOUR rocks off correcting the spelling (which is an obvious simple oversight) go get some muscle milk and yeager bombs and go do your laundry, situation.

  • I agree..

  • I forgot to include the word "cliquish" in my previous post. So there it is.

  • All of this stereotyping, ridicule and hate-mongering because some people (especially those trying hard) make a little noise when they work out. I've been in a LOT of gyms and never really noticed un-acceptable levels of vocalization. Could it be that Planet Fitness actually has nothing to sell, and they have to grab attention to get people to join? How ironic, planet f'ness trying to get attention.

  • What is up with all the angry roid ragers? Hey, guess what? Lance Armstrong wasn't ripped, but he won the Tour de France seven times using illegal performance-enhancing drugs just like you! Yeaaaa! And by the way, it's "portray" not betray all body builders as stupid. Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb... dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb Dumb dumb. KOOHA!

  • @79pensacola it's portray...are you kidding me

  • @leothelion634 He was proving a point... lol

  • You shaved apes either, really are this stupid or need to lighten up. Settle down there terminatator. Go beat you girlfriend and watch ufc or something.

  • @asidious66 *Terminator

    *your

    Also, unnecessary punctuation.

Good job, Mr.Unshaved Ape, you certainly proved who's stupid.

  • planet fitness is a fucking joke, hardly any barbells, nobody there is serious about actually lifting some form of weight, and you cant grunt scream or make any form of noise as it may "disturb others" when in reality it helps you lift more and gives you a boost, FUCK YOU PLANET FITNESS

  • worst gym ever!!!! you cant even grunt or scream

  • Cause we all know being muscular makes you retarded...

  • It's funny how the commercial is just as bad as the gym.

  • And the worst part about them isn't the fact that they're "inferior" to people that take their workouts seriously (hint: they're NOT). The saddest part is that these people will never experience the self-satisfaction that comes with pushing your limits and growing everyday. That's the greatest lesson that working out can teach. Talk about living lives of quiet desperation...

  • Its funny that they portray people serious about their workout as "stupid," when the best scientific evidence shows that exercising (cardio, weightlifting and esp HIIT) actually increases brain function. When I was just starting to workout regularly as a teen, these "lunkheads" were amongst the most helpful people at the gym.

  • @79pensacola- first of all, the word is "portray", not "betray." second, you are doing the same thing you accuse them of- taking a group of people and lumping them all together in one intelligence group. what about living in a trailer park makes someone dumb? go ahead, let's hear your ignorant stereotyping.

  • @robingd keep smoking that jenkem. Sorry I didn't use the correct word for the text. By the way faggot come at me with a better argument then that horse shit. :)

  • the trainer arms are as thick as my penis, want to look like this ?

    go to planet fitness

  • @korvix That actually rhymes.

  • @korvix trainers and consultants are not the same my friend

  • Funny thing is he wasn't lying... he REALLY lifts things and puts them down FOR A LIVING.

THAT'S HOW he got in this commercial.

  • Lmao!!! I lift tings up n put them down!

  • Hey, the place doesn't cater to steroid-pushing morons. So what?

I'd rather work out at a place I can go without having to worry about some brain-dead retard going into roid-rage and freaking out. If you want to work out in a place where the average clientelle enjoys punching out cattle on their free time and the avereage IQ rarely gets higher than the daily high temp at the South Pole, start your own gym.

  • @KC0FZZ Very ignorant of you to say, First off a bodybuilder with an incredible body and strength would not work out at a gym that does not provide suficeint weighted dumbells for him to train with. Secondly by saying you don't want to have to worry about some brain-dead retard going into roid-rage and freaking out displays your anger about you being so skinny/fat, weak, and judgemental. But this is the reason why guys like you are like this, skinny or fat never get the body you wish you had

  • @KC0FZZ hahahaha, brilliant. Yeah dude, gyms that have squat racks and allow deadlifts are constantly plagued by bouts of unrestrained "roid rage". As far as the IQ comment, it's people who work out at Planet Fitness who are dumb. If you knew anything about strength training and how the human body works, you would know that Planet Fitness' rules and their equipment are literally detrimental to getting a proper workout.

  • @KC0FZZ you are actually scared of someone roid ranging and hurting you?

  • @KC0FZZ Is that from personal experience? I think not...

  • It's very funny :) !Why can't I see commercial like this in the TV ???

  • planet fitness...judgement-free zone my ass

  • gyms like that are where gay dudes meet. You gotta find a small mom and pop gym.

  • @tearscratch31 not in the south, there are no such things, you go to your local school or a bigger church where applicable and we have a golds and LA fitness 2 miles apart, then nothing for about 50 miles anyway

  • Put down the Planet fitness application and leave.

  • Something tell's me he lift's things.

  • Is it really okay for any business to ridicule and basically kick out a man who mentally disabled ?

he did nothing offensive whilst in the gym, he simply repeated something much like a person who is disabled mentally would.

  • @ANTINULLdotcom someone takes things a little too seriously....

  • @ANTINULLdotcom Indeed that's so discriminant, denying service to a consumer might even be illegal!!! (I haven't looked into it though)

  • I lift tings up and put them down...I lift tings up and put them down...I lift tings up and put them down...I lift tings up and put them down...I lift tings up and put them down...

  • My favorite commercial for the moment... The fanny pack is the icing on the cake...LMAO!

  • He has the best body in the gym. LOL

  • ЛОЛ

  • I lift things up and put them down! LOL

  • Would love to see the end: where he smashes through that dinky door, lifts the little man, and throws him down.

  • my young sons and i love the commercial and think it is extremely funny. we dont think the actor playing the superfit guy is dumb or lacks intelligence. he has an accent but that is not being equated with a lack of intelligence in the commercial. he represents that guy we have all seen in the gym who make you feel a little intimidated because he is cut, very focused and drinks from a gallon jug whereas you only have a water bottle.

  • @jack50e The intimidating guy you speak is actually the least judgemental guy in the gym. He started where you did and knows it takes a tremendous amount of work to be like that and knows he started where you did too. He is guaranteed the first guy to help you with anything whether spotting or advice on form because he also had questions at one time too. The most judgemental people in the gym are usually new comers not comfortable with themselves they themselves judge to feel better.

  • @jack50e you get intimidated by what someone uses to drink out of? hope your great self esteem doesn't run in the family

  • why would anyone go to a sissy gym like that? you cant get swole without making noise!

  • this brand was created to make weak people feel better about their weakness - its been a raging success... nuff said

  • Oh can you guys chill out, it's just a fucking joke.

  • How about this: It's funny because it seems like it's true, when it's really not. (there you go, NocturnalBeing and 79pensacola)

  • It's funny how they betray all body builders as stupid. Hmm well it actually takes a lot of knowledge to know your own bodies diet needs and weight lifting needs. If body builders were dumb (which most of them aren't) then the trailer park would be filled with huge ripped guys and girls

  • @79pensacola I don't think they're saying dumb in general, but that their knowledge is limited to lifting weights. Which is true. They're geniuses when it comes to knowing how to target muscle groups, but outside the gym they're not much use.

  • @ImSeriousification Eh no they are portraying them as pretty much dumbasses. But whatever. Myself and plenty of guys I've met who were body builders were smart young guys that were going to college. A lot of body builders have degrees in medical just because they learn how the human body works. Would it be fair to say that some body jumped on a snow board and said I go up and I go down? I mean the video of planet fat chicks is funny but stupid to say body builders are mindless idiots talk to one

  • @79pensacola I take the piss out of my mates who do competitive bodybuilding for being gays - but not one of them could I ever describe as stupid. I lift weights, they are body builders, big difference; they get into the science of the lifts and their nutrition and its like a university lecture. Also they are determined in ways most people can not even imagine.

  • @streetfightsecrets Very true. I've done martial arts and I've lifted plenty, and I've known more college grads and in the process college folks working out getting determined. I think it's a way for guys to release a little stress from sitting at a desk for 6 hours a day.

  • @79pensacola Wooooow, ok first of all I'm pretty sure you mean "portrayed" and second, you're basically saying that it's bad to stereotype bodybuilders as stupid yet you literally just stereotyped everybody who has ever lived in a trailerpark as stupid. You're clearly the stupid one and i have NO idea how this ended up as one of the top rated comments.

  • @79pensacola It doesn't take half a brain cell to think " Hmm, I could use steroids"

  • @AnimeAddict61 Well, it is so fun with people who believe that ppl that taking steroids, then you look like that. Steroids are just a sharp dietary supplement, you must still keep a very good diet and exercise regularly to look like that.

  • @79pensacola you BETRAYED yourself- you lift things up and put them down for a living..

  • @79pensacola but trailer parks are already filled with huge ripped girls, their called butch chicks.

  • Planet FATNESS is a great gym for the real fitness industry. Keeps real trainer/fitness professionals busy showing people how to actually reap all the benefits of a healthy lifestye. They are capitalizing on memberships...there is no money to be made on gym rats. Heres a free nutrition tip: Take it easy on pizza night and tootsie rolls...1 in 3 people will die from obesity related/preventable illnesses in this country. Thats a fact chief.

  • @Maidenpatrol Most of their rediculous franchises closed immediately after opening in CO. If you are looking for a money making franchise, do your homework. PF is a joke.

  • DO YOU EVEN LIFT

  • Comment removed

  • thats a racist advertisment promoting negative stereotypes.

  • just shows they obviously dont want testosterone in their gym fuckin pansy ass mothafuckas

  • Well at least he's motivated.

  • Typical WWE 12 online match.

  • lol bitch at 0:16 be mirin

  • I think its ironic and idiotic that they put "judge free zone" yet they're doing it right there, and they have a huge weightlifter stereotype poster there. Dumb! But this commercial is kinda funny:P

  • @skatincriss27 these days most gyms want us to pay the fee but if it is possible dont even use the gym's equipment !

  • planet PUSSY

  • it's funny because even though he's portrayed as dumb he looks 10 times better than all the other people working out at this gym. i mean, if a dumb person with a one track mind can look better than you then what does that say about you, your routine and diet?

  • @NocturnalBeing It'd say that I'm not so shallow as to base the entirety of my self worth on only one aspect of myself.

  • @wolfpax181 but just shallow enough to make fun of someone whose training method is viewed as primitive yet proven to be effective? it's the mocking undertone in the video that irks me. if planet fitness is really about getting everyone to work out at their best then they shouldn't need to exclude/mock the types of exercises that bodybuilders do. i'm not even a bodybuilder myself but i think it's stupid that people still use the "bodybuilders are dumb" stereotype.

  • @NocturnalBeing Ahh, your first comment read to me as attacking others about their appearance, not irritation at the continuation of a stereo type as stupid as the video itself.

  • @NocturnalBeing Making an argument out of a non-serious ad does not help things.

  • @WralthAndFloritz if you take a look at the other planetfitness ads they all share the same attitude. it's all fun and game to promote their own brand but when they continually use the same "bodybuilders are dumb" stereotype then it makes them look snobbish and insecure. my comment wasn't an argument, it was a sentiment. i don't do bodybuilder exercises, i do bodyweight stuff mostly, but i respect the efforts they put in to get the result they want.

  • @NocturnalBeing I dont think it makes them look dumb and snobby. There are plenty of other gyms that embrace the meathead philosophy. Why can't there be a gym that supports regular people?

  • @MrMoBidnizz i have no problem with it. i just feel the angle at which they're promoting it is done negatively. if one feels the need to put down one group of people in order to make themselves look better then i think they're going about it the wrong way. also, having a strong/fit body doesn't equate to having lower IQ or being a "meathead".

  • @NocturnalBeing No, I agree with you, it doesnt equate to being a "meathead". But the vast majority are. I consider myself in shape, I am no means a meathead, but I work out, run, eat healthy, and take care of myself. That said, I dont like being in a gym where people are screaming at the top of their lungs. Its distracting.

  • @NocturnalBeing Well, I would assume it means those people, for the most part, have a real job and real life obligations. Unlike this gentleman who for work, "Lifts things up and puts things down".

  • @NocturnalBeing I think your analyzing the commercial too much for what it is. Funny. And Stupid.

  • @NocturnalBeing That's an interesting idea of what "looks good" means. The guy can barely walk any better than an immensely obese person! :P (Granted, that's how the character is meant to be portrayed.)

  • Isn't that what weightlifting is? Lifting things up and then putting them down? This man is not stupid, he's a genius plus obviously knows how to lift so yeah. I say this man is a genius and that scrawny trainer/manager is just jealous.

  • @dresendezz I hav$ no ide$ why mate.

  • I lift zhings up and put zem down!

  • this commercial is hilarious, but fuck planet fitness! how can u create a gym that doesn't encourage you to go beast mode everytime u step into that gym?! thats an excuse to be lazy. u want that kinda gym, stay on ur couch, keep eating ur junk food, and stay fat. u want results, find a real gym

  • @Michal524 you don't want to go beast mode actually and put yourself to the limits because if you're young (like i am, i'm 14) you'd burn your self out by the time you're 18 and would be limber and easy to get hurt. i play football and my coaches don't press us yo our max, that's just stupid.

  • Notice the muscle douches are getting roid rage over this commercial. Typical.

  • Did the employee just call that shitty machine the guy was on the 'strength circuit'?

    ...fucks sake.

  • I lift things up and put them down!

  • The commercial is implying that people don't necessarily have to have a "perfect" physique to go to the gym, but people commenting about how individuals that spend their time doing certain things such as lifting weights opposed to learning new things elsewhere are more likely to being less intelligent is just stupid. A gym is a gym, it does not matter what the name of the gym is, as long as there are proper tools to use for resistance so that person can adapt, that's all that matters.

  • i lift things up and put them downn

  • I think the commercial is hilarious. Kudos to the marketing company. I'm working hard, and would like to get a body like that. And yes, I am doing it for my own gratification. I don't think there is a better reason. And no, stimulants and steroids are not necessary to get there.

  • so planet fitness is saying this gym isnt for ripped guys? there right about that one its for losers

  • isnt that the point of working out? getting in great shape. I guess they ownly want pudgy customers who dont push themselves to their limits.

  • @CancillaMan... you sound like a low life... pretty much my stereo type for guys that cant reach there penis cause their muscles are to big

  • Planet Fitness is Gay.

  • i mean planet fitness gets a bad rep cause of this commercials, there are guys at planet fitness that take lifting seriously , i grunt or drop weight cause im pushing it to the max i can and my muscles feel like they are about to pop

  • Funniest commercial of all time!!!!!! If you disagree then you have NO sense of humor and you are a yuppy PRUNE.

    End of Story!

  • @ProTuner06 So if we don't agree that this is single funniest commercial of all time then we have no sense of humor? Makes sense.

  • @capness1228

Due to what little character we see developed here, "Not HIS planet" implies that they are using a stereotype to refer to all bodybuilders in general.

This is to draw more customers in, so they don't feel afraid of being a scrawny weakling amongst heavyweight boxing champs.

  • I like how you are all saying this is a stereotype when it clearly says "Not HIS planet" at the end. It says nothing about body builders in general, just this one guy. You are the ones choosing to see yourselves in him. Get over it.

  • @capness1228 I don't get that from the commercial, I get that from the fact that I used to work out there. This is not a place for people serious about lifting. The one I went to didn't even have bench press. Planet fitness is a joke.

  • Related video by JennaMarbles: People That Piss Me Off At The Gym

  • Lmfao i want all us SERIOUS lifters who grunt, scream, and yell not for a show, but to psych ourselves up to put in work to just go into planet fitness, slam weights, scream, and show all those phaggy ass workers what the fuck we do in the gym.

  • He must do alot of Deadlifts then

  • To be a sucessfull bodybuilder you atcully have to be smarter then most people. Cause you always have to know what you are eating how you are training and what to do to get that shredded insane condition. About now some of you will tell me "its all the drugs, its easy just take the drugs and look like that" but being shredded onstage at 270 is not easy. It takes brains and alot of hard works. People just dont look that way by accident or by popping a few d-balls.

  • @Dudelookslikeeylady When you get down to brass tacks, being a pro bodybuilder is about hormones. It's about how much Tren, Test, Masteron, HGH, and Insulin you are running. The only time eating strict and right becomes an issue is the few weeks leading up to showtime. Off season, it's about eating everything in sight because when you are running 100mg of Tren Ace a day, T3, Clenbuterol, 2 grams of Testosterone a week, and 15 iu's of HGH a day you can eat what you want.

  • @ClubbinGuido Are you serious? Ofcourse you cannot eat everything you want! sure you will have no problem keeping lean on a stack like that. But you cant eat cupcakes six times a day and be 270 pounds shredded. You have to eat real solid food meals with lots of protein.

  • man dont have feelings they have muscles

  • look at tht pussy on the leg machine...smh

  • arnolds cousin???

  • DO U EVEN LIFT?

  • i consider myself a meat head gym rat or what ever you want to call people that are serious about working out.. and i find this video funny as hell... i actually made it my ring tone on my phone haha

  • Has Arnold watched this yet?

  • if u lift at planet fatass, you really arnt really a gym going person.

  • It's already been proven that if you're muscle bound or workout that you're typically smarter than you would be without it, the blood flow increases your brain function

  • I WANT TO BURN DOWN EVERY PLANET FITNESS ON EARTH THIS IS MY PLANET BITCH GET THE FUCK OFF YOU PLANET FITNESS HOMOS!!

  • i like how the guy using the leg machine is not only doing it wrong, but he isnt even working up a sweat. also hes looking around while pressing. neck injuries. planet fitness sucks

  • I think the actor in this video is very funny and good. However, as a bodybuilder myself, I don't like the stereotype that bodybuilders are dumb. That was started by haters and jealous people because they aren't muscular and strong.

  • @CancillaMan Not that much of a steryotype because a decent amount of them are :P
