why is everyone attacking me? i have never been to berlin, nor have i any idea that you would know english. in the united states you only learn spanish or french, and not to the point in which you can speak it fluently. i really didnt mean to offend anyone, and i dont appreciate everyone bitching about a question. just remember no one is perfect, and you shouldnt throw stones if you live in a glass house.

Well I think almost all germans understand english, because we learn several foreign languages at school. So do I for example.

There is a german joke:

If you speak 3 languages, you're trilingual. If you speak 2 languages, you're bilingual. If you speak one, you are english. xD
