Republicans can't even protest correctly. Their protests were sporadically placed in small towns and only a handful of big-cities saw bigger numbers. I'm in Washington D.C. right now and I saw the small- tea party protest and it was a pathetic turnout. About 250,000 showed up to these protests nation wide. 250,000 is how many people show up to an Obama rally in one city in one day. Meanwhile they get to have FOX news promote the shit out of this and they can only manage 250,000? Pretty lame.
First off it was more like 300,000 which was pretty darn good considering it was on a work day. Sure Obama could have gotten more there but many of them wouldnt be missing work either. Fox was the only station saying anything about it until some of the others got shamed into it.
300,000 is very generous considering police crowd control records of every city, but whatever. If you bothered to go to a tea party like I did in D.C. or watched the coverage. A lot of folks there are unemployed, so maybe you shouldn't make light of people's unique employment situations in order to get a lame jab at an unproven fallacy.
Also, every news network covered the tea-parties, while they happened. FOX promoted and publicized them for weeks BEFORE it happened. That's PR, not reporting.
Say what you want Im not only unemployed but loosing my home, so dont give me any BS on this! And as long as we still have the First Amendment, (that is until Obama and his cronies get rid of it making this a communist country) which guaranties us freedom of speech.

This is an absolute lie by Fox (hard to believe) news.
All the other News stations covered the TEA Party protests. They just didn't promote them.
News stations must remain impartial observers and Fox news was glorifying the protests instead of simply reporting what they see.
Fox encouraged people to go and voice their concerns as well as posted the websites to get more info.
Additionally Fox overinflated the attendence in Wash. and reported it as fact.

But that isn't the law. The law is that people born on U.S. soil are citizens. Also, in reference to your "ability to speak basic English" comment, I will also point out that the children of many Italian, Polish, German, Ukranian etc. immigrants in the U.S. in the 19th and early 20th century didn't speak a word of English for the first few years of life. Some of their parents never learned. Would you go back and put the ancestors of 1/2 the nation back on their boats?

I absolutely agree, border security should be paramount. I don't support open borders - far from - but people who say "no amnesty" are in effect saying we need to deputize about 5 million Americans to start rounding up illegal immigrants, who are after all filling a labor need.
As for marijuana, I think potheads are annoying as well, but I also suspect you know a lot of people who smoke pot that you would never think do. It's like alcohol - drinking's okay, but drunks suck.

Republicans can't even protest correctly. Their protests were sporadically placed in small towns and only a handful of big-cities saw bigger numbers. I'm in Washington D.C. right now and I saw the small- tea party protest and it was a pathetic turnout. About 250,000 showed up to these protests nation wide. 250,000 is how many people show up to an Obama rally in one city in one day. Meanwhile they get to have FOX news promote the shit out of this and they can only manage 250,000? Pretty lame.
