@thehouseboardshop I'm currently riding a Gnu Park Pickle. Not really a park rat, but like using the rest of the mountain as a park. Also considering the Rome 390 Boss as some reviews about the reliability of the hinged disc on the Shaka's are a little worrying.
@gsxr7fiddy The 390 boss is a great bindings. As for the Shaka's we have not seen a single pair in for warranty. If there was a problem I'm sure Forum would take care of you, but you got to trust your gut.
Forum Shaka's or Ride Capo's on a GNU Park Pickle? Currently using 32 Lashed boots and looking for a nice, mid-flexing, freeride setup.. (I've got some old Cartels now, but they're pretty stiff)
I've just ordered the Shaka bindings 2012 (I have size 12 I think) in Large. Will this work? I also ordered the DC PBJ 159 Wide. Do you think all this will work together? I put alot of money in it..
i have a size 14 boot and i have only gotten extremely positive reviews about this binding and im stoked to get these but i am afraid that my big boot will be too big for these in a large. What do you guys say? oh an i am planning on getting the youngblood chilly dog in a 155W.
@thehouseboardshop i have size fourteen burton freestyle boots. i currently have a flow merc board that is 156 cm and regular width and, of course, have toe drag. the bindings i have are some flux bindings size m/l and are a little small. will the large shaka bindings work? if not, what would be another option?
@tsnd0714 1st get some new boots with Shrinkage Tech such as the 2012 Burton Motos, trust me you will appreciate it. As for bindings Check out Ride, Union, or anything with a adjustable heal cup. The Shaka are mostly likely will not going to work.
I've got a budget of about 250, and I'm looking for the best freeride Binding I can find, I love kickers and deep pow. So far I've looked at the union atlas and this binding. What would you guys suggest, any binding reference would help. Thanks!
@TheHuskerKid What size boots do you have? Check out these great all around bindings; The Union Force SL, Burton Cartels, Rome Targa Snowboard, Ride Rodeo or Capo.
im planning on buying the shaka 2012 binding with the 2012 forum destroyer doubledog 154 model. my foot is 42-43'ish size. wondering if i should buy the medium or the large model of the bindings? it says the medium are from size 37-43 and the large model is 42-46. european size ofcourse ;) my foot is fully grown out btw. sry for my english
keep it up house board shop, you guys are great! thanks!
The EVA heel padding in attached to the flat section via 2 nubs...pull hard the EVA heel padding away from the flat section and badda bing, you got it.

forgot to add Union Force SL's as another option

@gsxr7fiddy I would go with the Shaka's if your looking for a little softer binding. What board are you riding and does it have rocker?

@tsnd0714 What kind of boots do you have? I think you might want to get a little wider board.

@1Crysis16 I would recommend getting the med bindings. According to the charts they should fit you boots.

How the hell do you get the footbed out?
TerribadSC2 2 months ago
@TerribadSC2
There are 2 pieces that make the foot bed...
1. the flat section that your foot rests on
2. an EVA heel padding that touches the board.
The EVA heel padding in attached to the flat section via 2 nubs...pull hard the EVA heel padding away from the flat section and badda bing, you got it.

whats a better bang for your buck, shaka or faction?? i do jibs and jumps and i ride a forum scallywag
dmpia1 2 months ago
@dmpia1 Your going to get the most Bang with the Shaka's Bra. But if you on a budget, the Factions will do a good job for less.
