...lol at comments besides canada ones. I live in maine and we are still in school even if we get 3 feet in one night. biggest storm was 5 feet in the valley of enchanted mountain and long pond.
Thanks for this, I lived in Iowa one year and went to bed Friday night, woke up to 3 FEET of snow and thought it had had to have snowed heavily to do. Shows that if it's steady snow, it CAN get deep and not look like a whiteout.
@BlaggerDagger I live in Canada, two feet in one night is okay, but in a real snow storm we can get something like a meter and a half in one night, something like a yard and 3/4
@redogy1 OMG that = almost as tall as i am in the us since we dont use metric or yards for snow that would be 4ft 11in or roughly 10in / 24cm SHORTER THAN I AM!....It would be up to my chest :O
@redogy1 OMG that = almost as tall as i am in the us since we dont use metric or yards for snow that would be 4ft 11in or roughly 10in / 24cm SHORTER THAN I AM!....It would be up to my chest :O
@BlaggerDagger It depends on where you are. In Rochester, NY, 2 feet overnight can be average, or a lot, depending on how the weather is behaving that year.
i'm form québec, and i could say to you, not in 2 minutes...cause the snow don't fall enough for 2 feets in 2 minutes...when the snow fall down like that, it takes minimum 4 or 5 hours! ;)
My Mother's at work, why? You're still a retard for not reading the description, and I'm hardly retarded for pointing out your mistake. Get a grip on your life fool.
Oh no! You've replied in French, whatever will I do?...Well I could always use Google Translator.
Take my pills? Is that supposed to be some sort of insult? Look, you were being a retard because you didn't read the description and assumed (wrongly) that the person who posted this video was claiming two feet of snow fell in two minutes. Well...you were wrong, just have the balls to admit it instead of giving people shit and, oddly, replying in French for some fucked up reason.
since we're not getting snow in the part of NC where i live... im almost tempted to go buy a projector and a screen and play this on my window tomorrow on christmas...
I don't know if I'm more amazed at the amount of snow, or the fact that there was hardly any wind for so long to knock the snow off of the hand rails! In Kansas, once in a while we might get like 18" tops, but the wind is so harsh on the plains that it all gets blown into big snow drifts or into ditches on the sides of highways. Amazing footage, all the same.
Here in Pittsburgh, we got 20 inches, it was horrible shoveling the driveway and trying to get cars out of the snow but it was fun to play in afterwards :)
Lucky bastard. We never get snow here. :(
