Man... I was hearing this song when I was being transfer from one jail to another last week. I finished praying on the bus when all of a sudden I told everybody who can hear me if they knew who sings this song. An older man told me that it was Barry White. Man, his voice was in my head all day. Life... it is wonderful.  I told the man thank you, but the sad thing is that he told me that he passed away. I was sad to hear that. We were about 30 of us and about 5 of us were singing along. :)

Barry has given this live version a twist , and I do prefer the original...the version that rode within the top 10 playlist for many many weeks. There's no doubt in my mind that the original version has been altered, enough so that I for one don't particularly like it. (sorry). In all other cases where I've listened to Barry live they have been very similiar to the original but not with this number. Watching a live video dose help, it's better than just looking at a photo of Barry.THX

The thing about young people is they are too young to have had "proper" training. They don't know what they "shouldn't do and can't do". When it comes to things that need to come from the soul you get what is in their soul not what is on a piece of paper, even when they are reading the notes.

I'd prefer sound anyday. big difference!. Before you know it they'll have these things playing the instrument(s) for them, (if they aren't already.)
