i get about 19 to 20 at 65 mph cruise up to st louis, i also and the k and n setup and magnaflow exhaust, mine is a 2006 with 15600 miles , dont know if that has anything to do wtih it tough
that's nothing to brag about...I got 19.5-21 on 2 different 300 mile trips with my average speed at 64.7 (GPS) in my 2008.5 Titan 4x4 with the big ass mirrors on it!! only ything i did before both trips was run gas treatment in the tank before trip and during trip, and make sure the air pressure was good in the tires and air filter was cleaned. no mods at all. I now live in cambodia and my avg mpg is 7-8 and avg speed 15-30. i can't tell you the last time my truck saw 4th gear!!
For the most part imports take the toll. For my experience, nissan titans are better than ford by a long shot, i dont know about chevrolet or toyota. Comparing the titan to dodge ram 1500 hemi, nissan titan is faster but not as powerfull or comfortable. As far as gas being better than diesel its a lie. Either you want speed or power (gas, or diesel) my 2006 dodge ram 1500 hemi big horn edition got 21 mpg, my stepdad's 2002 cummins 20 mpg (5in straight pipe) and my titan about 16mpg.
take your stupid fucking imports and go back to china you stupid dumb fuck.. god, you know what.... that POS titan was built over seas. that ford you put down gave someone in our country a job. so pretty much STFU
Hey, Einstein, Nissan is a Japanese company, and the Titan is built in Canton, Mississippi... that's in the U.S., in case you can't read a map. And I'm sure no U.S. citizen worked on the assembly line, or at the dealership. Have another Busch beer, hillbilly.
Actually, you dullard with the IQ of an egg, parking it would give you infinite MPG, not 0...meaning the gas would never run out. However, my comment wasn't meant to be taken literally numbnuts! It's called sarcasm...look it up...we'll wait. Your still not going to get an average close to 20 MPG in a Titan. Both of mine saw MAYBE 16.5 as a highway best.
You guys comparing diesels to gas trucks in fuel economy, diesels have an obvious upper-hand. My Cummins knocks down pretty good mpg's too, but, why would I insult the fella who created this video by throwing that in there? We are talking about a powerhouse V8 GAS Titan here. Sorry, not directed just at you, because minivan442 said the same thing, yours was just more recent.
Just excatly what were you smokin to get that I want some its got to be good there is just simply no way you will get that out of a 6.0 the computer can show that but figure it on paper you will be sorely dissappointed trust me I know.
Thats not true, its very possible to get that kind of milage, I have true dual exhaust on mine with a K&N airfilter and I get 19 on a regular basis when I don't drive like an A hole.

Rub a lamp Alladin! The only way you'll get 20 MPG in a Titan is if you park it! That guage is a meaningless vacuum guage!
joenissan 4 years ago
dumbass "20mpg if you park it" <--do you not understand what mpg means, MILES per gallon, parking it you're not moving, meaning 0mpg
