We have one of those as well, instead of an air conditioner. It works great, we also have a couple of attic fans.
On the note of your attic fans, you may want to oil the motors occasionally. Ours have oilable motors, with oil ports. Just 5 to 6 drops in each one every year will make the fans live a long happy life.
