Hey check the file size of your Xbox game, some require dual Layer (DL) if it's over 4.5 GB then ya need a dual Layer DVD+R to burn it. Also use a program like ImgBurn to burn it, it works well, and ya should be able to find it free.

I dont get your question? To back up Xbox games you need the Original Copy. But you can download games from the net then burn disks if you'd like or instead of burning the disks just put them on the xbox hard drive ( if you have space)

Even if you rip a game to the HDD you still need to insert the disc to start the game. This kind of tells me it's looking for validation from a disc, either a read-in to match the HDD, or a generic file from any X-Box disc to start the game. But I'm guessing you know nothing of this, cause you have a modded Box and updating it would get you pinched... Thanks anyways!

To those of you who are having trouble with programs to use. download XDVD Mulleter 10.4 or a close version, and CloneCD, when you have the file downloaded, open ur torrent, right click on the first rar file in the folder, and hit extract, keep it in the same folder, when thats done, youll have a .iso and a .dvd open up mulleter and load the .iso check if its stealth patched, if it is do that and open clonecd set it to write to disc. load the file and burn to 8.5gb DVD+R DL. you quix program would do that.....go to the second icon on ur left and then press the first bubble and click the three dots on the right... then click the file that has the game files and click create iso...... then burn and you dont need to connect for that if you do want to connect type in 192.168.2.1## your xbox ip address<<< and then for user name type in xbox and password is xbox :)
