Check out the Kipon EOS to MFT adapter with built in aperture control on the Panasonic AG-AF100 with the Canon 50mm F1.8 lens. The adapter has no electronics so it has no auto focus.
Sorry, please excuse my tone - but i just think the design could have been more ergonimic and natural flowing and less clunky and chunky. Don't dis the DSLR's they are used for major TV production now! Aesthetics drive consumer decision....function follows form, ask Steve Jobs, Dr. Porsche and any architect on the planet.
@bigkingsha No worries... I agree that the AF100 could have had more in the looks department. We use DSLR's (7D and the 5DII) as well and agree they can produce great images in the right hands. A camera is just a tool for an artist to use... and the fact is that we have SOOOO many tools at our disposal right now. We must choose the right tool for the job... and most importantly, get out and shoot!
@RenewableEnergyNews Yeah i agree....i think you should just use what's available and shoot for artistic expression's sake. Now don't get me wrong here!!! ....if someone handed me one of these babies i'd be stupified with happiness. As far as functionality - there's nothing to debate about Panasonic products, they are true workhorses.
@bigkingsha Since when does a camera have to look "good" to produce stunning images? I'd say a DSLR is pretty "butt ugly" compared to a Sony F35, but they produce pretty sound images for the price. The "mini" Sony F35 I think you speak of is also going to cost $20k+... a different league completely.

Impressive specs, and a great price, but maybe the ugliest camera ever. Looks like some old VHS camcorder your dad had.
