@metsfreak628 Ray Park (the guy behind the red and black iridonian) is a martial artist... he taught the rest of the cast how to fight, so when he made it into the movie as Darth Maul, he brought in his knowledge of martial arts, hence all the cool kicking.

I love the break in action when all 3 of them are cut off by the barriers. You see the differences in their characters so clearly. Maul paces, eager to continue the hunt. Jinn meditates, patiently awaiting the continuation, and Obi's impatience, but quite eagerness but no where near the same level of patients of Jinn. Such diverse characters. :')

Well, I can't remember having seen this fight before, but it's that amazing as some other fights throughout such movies. It's quite boring until it's a real duel between Darth Maul and Obi-Wan, it speeds up and the moves get quite cool.

It just a bit short and the final strike is somehow ridiculous: Darth Maul is so overwhelmed, that he can't even parry or avoid it... not that good fighter then ^^

Just to let everyone know (who didn't know already), Darth Maul didn't die when Obi-Wan cut him in half. The Zabrak can survive without their lower halves. He did get some prosthetic legs, though.

Just had an interesting though. Maybe it is because of this scene that Obi Wan wants him and Anakin to take on Dooku together in episode 2. The last time he got separated from his master he ended up dying. Just and interesting thought. @WarlockAngel22 True, I like this fight because (especially towards the end) the fighting doesn't look choreographed. Obi Wan is pissed and he is just going all out on the dude (Sounds really wrong). All of the other movies have these fancy floaty moves that you can tell are choreographed. This one just feels real. (Again, talking about the final duel, not the beginning)
