  • @mrdelgibbons

actually for the first two you can use x-plore, modo and ybrowser on a sybian s60 phone.

For UIQ you can use swissmanager and also xplore.

I've had nokia e71 and sonyericsson p1i and both of them could download and view documents. (word, ppoint and excel)

So not only iphone can do that,

Plus: This thing can kill an iphone with its capabilities. This bitch is open source unlike the jailed iphone you have to rescue out

  • whoa dude you missunderstand me! I was taking the piss out of the iPhone lol...There's no app for getting to your filesystem! Thats what I meant.

I'm on a Samsung i8910 just now (s60v5) but seriously considering the N900. I like.

  • Accessing the root of your device?

Accessing the file system of your own phone?

Download documents to your own phone and save them?

There's NO app for that....only on the iPhone.

    ;) hehehehehe

  • Now that is classic. Thumbs up.

  • @saykey2009

With a terminal you can :

    - Monitor / debug you phone

    - Compiling source code and installing software

    - Create scripts or source code

    - Take control of a remove server / pc (with ssh)

    - Learn how your phone works inside

    - Use applications who works only in text mode

    - Convert movies or pictures in many formats (with imagemagick)

    and many many more...

  • well, as u said, you dont get it, so lets just leave there shall we?
