The Robocop movies were very enjoyable to me. I understand that Robocop 3 was the last sequel because of the poor box office performance. I hope that the reboot does better in the box office than ever before. I hope that a Robocop vs terminator is made because that could be a huge hit for a box office performance because when similar protagonists are united in the same film, films like that usually do well in the box office like The Expendables.

Quite a lot of games' rights for movie production have been sold but many just get stuck in development hell.

You all forget that back then tech was not as good as it was to day so old movie look under par so remake bring back old fav. and i like it. New technology in film making, and development - they want to make the old "nerdy" movies even better by remaking them with the new developments in CGI and High-Def displays.

I honestly see nothing wrong with it, since I think we get a fair share of original stuff and remakes. I think the amount of Sci-fi movies (such as District 9 and Battle: LA and so on) along with the super-hero/comic book adaptations is helping balance things out, despite the amount of remakes and reboots.

Here's what will happen with this reboot:
