@LouisduLac You are talking about the Lesser Cornu in the hyoid bone, right? I tried to shape it pointing dorsal, perhaps its not clear enough in the video, but its definitely not pointing to ventral...:)
@KMELIZ21 Sorry, its been a while since I have done this model, so I may not be able to tell you exactly what I did, but I can tell you I used play clay, the kind you bake to harden (you'll find it in craft stores). I used different colors for the bone, muscles, cartilage. I shaped the circular forms over and around a toilet tissue cardboard base, then baked them to harden.
This is a really helpful video! and the model is well made! It helps seeing a 3D view of these structures and how they are oriented in space. How long did it take you to make the model?
nice summary for students in a speech anatomy course. to see a nice presentation of how it works all together, i like "the voice is like a car" video on youtube..
