Well mikilavush, speaking as a Christian as well as a science geek, I find the idea of mankind taking the step to colonizing another world to be amazing. It shows that the human race, when it puts its collective minds to something, can accomplish quite a bit.

That is not against God or his teachings, if anything the idea of colonizing Mars (or even a few of Jupiter's moons and our own) has great potential...besides the Rapture will take everyone of faith no matter where they are on this plane.

Most of mars surface is petrified. In photos petrified things look like stone and this is an effect of a nuclear holocaust. Much of what looks like rocks is wood and there are even petrified bodies. put a book up against your nose you cant read the words. place it 10 feet away same thing.
