i dunno if you have heard of the band 'My Favorite Highway' but you might like them. I think they are worth checking out, they have lots of piano in their songs. 'Bigger Than Love' is one of the ones that relies heavily on the piano. <3

What mixer do you use?

Just wondering me and my brother are thinking of recording some songs. We borrowed a tascam unit but my Dad wants a mixer!

You look just like my guitar teacher too! Your probably roughly the same age.

Anyway, some great songs! Can't wait to hear the rest of them on the album!

It's an Alesis Multimix 12. There are a lot of ways to go about starting a home studio, I suggest some Google action! I did a lot of research before I started buying stuff - to find what was right for me. =)

The one (well two of the same type) in this video is an AKG C414. They're not so cheap, but you can get an SM58 or even a fairly decent condenser mic on ebay for under £100 these days. =)

Its pretty neat to see the "behind the scenes" on how you record things, that was fun. I come from a classical background in music, so I'm digging the new song, maybe you should experiment more with that type of thing, Sigur Ros style.
