There is no need for markings. The roundabout is so large that it would be like a dozen of lanes, having to stay in your lane would make the situation just more confusing. It just wouldn't work.
ALot of drivers dont seem to understand that there are times when you must stop, especially on merge acceleration lanes on motorways and if the motorway is not clear you are supposed to stop on the merge lane but some drivers just won't do this. One thing i am learning about driving is no matter how precisely you follow the rules it makes little difference as nobody else cares
The thing is that we also know how to drive really well, but in Paris it's complete chaos. So we know how to drive in good traffic and in horrible traffic , which is even better than only knowing how to drive in good traffic :p

the funny part is you say "and ppl say chinese people can't drive...pfff" count how many cars go through that intersection with nobody or nothing directing them and nobody so much as scratches anyone else...these drivers are good, impatient we all know, but good drivers
