  • why is it that peanuts are always involved in this. what is in peanuts ? im starting to think peanuts should be illegal.

  • It's not just peanuts. It's also tree nuts, shellfish, fish, bee stings, and very rarely latex.

  • @fhab525 I think people allergic to peanuts should be sterilized so they dont make more retarded peanut phobic babies.

  • @Michelle00Hunt You fucking ignorant twat! You should be sterilised so you don't bring children up to be ignorant and cruel!

  • rast score 5 plus , 1 epi is not enough , I see stars , an instant protection mode . like someone in a seizure but with more control . I have even pushed my wife in shock .. hard to explain guess you have to be there ..

  • hey doc I become combative when stung . how does epi work with respect to bodyweight /size ?

  • I have two epipens. one for home, one for carrying, usually after my weekly shots.

  • hmm it wont cost any side effect if you shot it in yourself as in like a normal person with noting wrong or any thing..... i had a epipen accident yesterday i will be fine right?

  • Thank you for putting this out there. I don't think a lot of people get that it only buys you 20 min and you should always call 911-you're going to need help in another 20 min, especially if you don't have a 2nd epi.

  • um actually its a huge amount of pressuree. but ok...maybe thats just the jr. epi pen...idk

  • FYI and all that: 10cm jabbing distance. Prevents needle breaking or any hematoma (Not that a lil' bruise is what you should be worried about).

  • "Small amount of pressure" — that's totally false, one needs to push very hard (think: hit the leg like your life depends on it) for the mechanism to release the adrenaline.

Don't trust 1 Epipen to save you because it can "stall" on you and you'll NEVER get your adrenaline dose.

    Epipens are very badly design...

  • We recommend that each patient carry 2 epipens
