@1nick9987 Grid and Pitbull for raid frames, Bartender, Recount, Omen, Chinchilla Minimap, Power Auras. Nothing out of the ordinary, really. Also, this was from almost 2 years ago. My UI has changed since then.
@jowamovies I've actually experimented with that. But our pet gets focus from our crits, which helps their dps/threat a LOT. In "Eyes" he doesn't get that benefit, not to mention missing out on things like Misdirection. So after the first few attacks, focus regen is very poor compared to what it could be, and his threat actually suffers quite a bit. "Eyes" should only be used when very specific boss maneuvering is needed.
I'm actually secretly of the mind that I hope Blizzard doesn't find out. If they realize hunters can tanks raid bosses, it's probably more likely they'll nerf our tanking to the stone age rather than help us out with it.
Oh, and thanks! No need to play favorites :p but it's always great to see interest.
it would definately be a unique type of tank, and would probably take some thinking in pet choices.
Its not like it would be hard to do either,
just buff up pet survivability in our talent tree, and hell, maybe even a permanent MD to our pet (though i think we could live without it) and voila! hunter tank!
it would definately help even out the tank/dps ratio in the X-realm lfg system.
