  • Dr. Brown's videos are well worth the investment of your time. He knows the material and he knows how to teach. I wish I could afford the tuition at Emory.

  • Thank you Dr. Brown. I've benefited from your R programming videos as well.

  • wow this has been really interesting and informative. im thinking about majoring in mathematics and communications. I am by no means a genius in math but after taking one accelerated course in algebra (which I didn't bother to learn in hs because I didn't have any interest) I feel like I am a much sharper and analytical thinker. I can definitely see the benefits of learning and applying math to anything in life.

  • I agree - but there are also a great many people with extremely boring lives that use computers and statistics on a daily basis: think quantitative finance.

  • I AGREE... I TOTALLY AGREE. Now I know I am on the right path. THANK YOU DR. COURTNEY. AND GOD BLESS YOU SIR.

  • completely complete agree!! I was born and brought up in India and I can agree to every single comment about India. 'Geek' is a complement!

  • What if I have my BS in Statistics and I can't find a job

  • I just happened to come across this brotha searching for podcast lectures on Rastafarianism, and came upon his discussion on Bob Marley and his Manifesto Politics in Music series. And I was hooked!

  • cool advice I am 32 and I already think I have spent my life doing nothing
